Back in the heavily reinforced seclusion chamber at the lowest level of Sky City, Li Wei activated every defensive barrier and placed the metal container sealing the Power Stone in the center of the chamber.

Even through the container, the vast, boundless, utterly pure fluctuations of power made the entire chamber tremble faintly.

Li Wei had prepared for this long ago. Naturally, he would not use it as recklessly as Ronan, nor would he rely on a "demigod" bloodline to endure it like Star-Lord. What he wanted was safe, complete fusion and control.

Energy Siphon and Tiered Conversion.

He took out the repeatedly optimized and upgraded [Energy Siphon and Stabilization Matrix] once more, originally used for CHP Psionic Crystals. This array disk had now integrated Kree energy technology, Dark Dimension corrosion analysis techniques, and even stronger magical runes.

He activated the array disk and locked onto the Power Stone within the container. Rather than attempting to control the stone itself, the array disk acted like the toughest straw, slowly and steadily drawing out tiny streams of purple energy from the stone's nearly infinite ocean of power.

The siphoned energy first passed through multiple buffering and filtering layers inside the array disk. Its most destructive and chaotic portions were stripped away and directed into a specially made Energy Annihilation Furnace to be consumed. Only then was the relatively mild, controllable core energy guided into Li Wei's body.

Tempering and Containment of the Body.

Even after being filtered, the Power Stone's energy was far more tyrannical than the Extremis Virus and the T-virus. The instant the energy entered his body, Li Wei felt every cell within him roar and tear apart before being forcibly reconstructed and strengthened beneath that torrent of power!

He activated every ability he possessed to deal with it:

The powerful regeneration and adaptability granted by the T-virus and Extremis Virus allowed his body to continuously seek balance between destruction and rebirth.

The X-Gene Optimization Technique made his cellular structure tougher and better able to withstand the impact of energy.

The Astral Visualization Technique and Soul Anchor firmly protected the clarity of his mind, resisting the alluring will of corruption and pure destruction within the Power Stone.

The principles of the Void Scroll were applied within his body, constructing microscopic defenses at crucial energy nodes and guiding the energy along the paths he had set.

It was an immensely painful and prolonged process. Purple energy fissures would occasionally burst across the surface of his body, only to heal rapidly. The chamber echoed with his suppressed growls and the thunderous roar of rushing energy.

Who knew how much time had passed? When the array disk stopped drawing energy, having reached the limit Li Wei could safely absorb at his current stage, he slowly opened his eyes.

Deep within them, purple starry vortices seemed to flash and vanish. He raised a hand, using neither magic nor psionic power, and simply clenched his fist.

Bzzzz—!

The air around his fist let out an overburdened wail, and space showed faint signs of distortion! Pure power! His physical strength alone had already nearly reached the level of interfering with space!

The Emergence of New Abilities—Power Forge and Void Fist.

After successfully absorbing and initially fusing this portion of the Power Stone's energy, Li Wei gained enhancements to two core abilities:

Power Forge: His body had become like an efficient energy conversion furnace. Now, whenever he used any ability requiring energy—magic, psionic power, the thermal energy of the Extremis Virus, and so on—its power, efficiency, and endurance were massively improved! For example, magic that originally required one second of charging could now be cast almost instantly with double the power. The output strength and precision of his psionic power also rose accordingly.

Void Fist: He combined the Power Stone's pure destructive nature with the "existence erosion" property of the [Void Scroll], creating a terrifying offensive skill. When he concentrated energy in his fist, the instant it struck a target, it not only unleashed a double wave of physical and energy-based destruction, but also carried a trace of erasure on the "rule level." The target's defenses—whether physical armor, energy shields, or magical barriers—would become as fragile as if they had been rubbed away by an eraser.

Li Wei looked at the gem container in his hand, still brimming with vast power, but did not greedily continue absorbing it. He knew that this was already his limit at his current level. Excessive greed would only lead to destruction.

He sealed the container tightly once more and stored it in the deepest part of the base.

"The power of one stone is already this great... What kind of sight would it be if all six were gathered?" His desire for the Infinity Stones burned even more fiercely.

This plunder had not only caused his strength to soar, but had also given him the most direct understanding of the Infinity Stones' power and methods of fusion. His path of multiversal plunder had risen to a new level.
