In the corridor.
A large number of Russian soldiers rushed out from the left and right turns at the far end.
But before they could even see their targets clearly, Natasha, holding two assault rifles, accurately shot them in the head.
The sight left Nick Fury dumbfounded once again.
"Motherfucker!"
"How did you manage to get a headshot with every single assault rifle shot!?"
Natasha, walking toward the turn ahead, answered expressionlessly upon hearing the question, "Aim with your eyes and correct manually. It's simple."
Body Tempering was a stage of continuously enhancing the sharpness of one's five senses, physical strength, and muscle control.
On top of that, Natasha had undergone inhuman training in the Red Room, so doing this was fairly easy for her.
"Aim and correct, it's simple~" Nick Fury repeated mockingly, shaking his head.
He then hurried after her and continued, "To be honest, S.H.I.E.L.D. has someone as unbelievably skilled as you too, but he uses a bow."
"How about it? If you join S.H.I.E.L.D., I can introduce you. Maybe you two will have plenty to talk about."
As he spoke, he tossed the disc-shaped miniature stun bombs in his hand into the passage on the left.
In an instant, countless electric arcs burst forth from those discs, electrocuting every soldier in the left passage unconscious.
The soldiers in the right passage, meanwhile, once again failed to fire a single shot before Natasha picked them off with headshots one by one.
"If it were magic, I might be interested. Bows, forget it."
Natasha tossed aside the assault rifles after emptying their magazines and turned to look at Nick Fury.
"Are you taking the left or the right?"
"The left."
"Then I'll take the right." With that, Natasha flicked her hair and headed right.
"Deputy Director Shield, rescue your partner and leave quickly. Once I rescue my sister, I plan to destroy this filthy place."
"Sister?" Nick Fury swiftly searched through the relevant information in his mind.
He soon identified the records of Natasha's family of four from when they had served as spies in America.
At the same time, he called out toward Natasha's retreating back, "I'll keep an eye out for Miss Yelena Belova! If you find Agent Coulson, lend him a hand too!"
But Natasha moved incredibly fast. The moment Nick Fury finished speaking, she was already out of sight.
A few faint footsteps sounded behind him at that moment, unlike those of soldiers carrying heavy equipment.
"Oh shit, the little spiders they've been raising are here."
Seeing several beautiful figures emerge from the far end of the passage, Nick Fury's expression turned much more solemn.
He knew the Red Room's spy training process inside and out.
They captured large numbers of young little spiders for training. Once they reached a certain age, they were made to kill one another like poisonous insects in a jar, or sent on near-impossible missions.
Until the strongest among them emerged as the queen, becoming the deadliest Black Widow.
And now was the period when this generation's queen was being decided. Every little spider carried a chilling level of danger.
One wrong move, and he might really die here.
Inside the main control room.
Dreykov tapped his fingers against the desk, but his eyes remained fixed on the surveillance feed—or rather, on Natasha.
The Natasha on the monitor did not use the Summoning Spirit Art. Instead, relying on her powerful physique and the narrow corridor terrain, she dealt with every enemy who approached her one by one.
That included quite a few young female spies currently at the graduation stage.
As for Nick Fury on the other side, who was being chased all over the place, Dreykov could barely be bothered to spare him another glance.
Suddenly, the door to the main control room was pushed open, and two figures, one dressed in black and one in red, entered from outside.
"General, you summoned us?"
Walking in front was Melina, the First Black Widow, dressed in a black bodysuit. She asked respectfully.
Before Dreykov could speak, Alexei, the Red Guardian behind Melina, dressed in a custom red combat suit and Russia's version of Captain America, beat him to it with a sarcastic sneer.
"Oh, Dreykov, my 'good friend.' Didn't you used to shout about making me rot away in prison and feeding me prison food for the rest of my life?"
"What, now you need me to handle something for you again?"
Back when Russia fell apart, Dreykov had sent him undercover in Ohio for three years, and Alexei still held a grudge over it.
Coupled with the fact that the two had disagreed constantly over the past few years, their conflicts had never ceased.
Hearing Alexei's racket, Dreykov's brow twitched violently.
Still, he forcibly suppressed his anger and pointed at the surveillance screen. "I don't feel like arguing with you right now. Take a look at who's on the screen."
The two looked in the direction Dreykov pointed and quickly spotted Natasha cutting through enemies like grass.
"Natasha!"
"It's Natasha! As expected of my daughter! Those moves—fucking awesome!"
Both of them looked delighted.
But upon seeing Dreykov's face as dark as the bottom of a pot, they quickly came to their senses and frowned.
Naturally, they were not frowning because Natasha had infiltrated the base, but because they could not understand why she had come back to die.
She had finally managed to escape before and could have lived freely.
"So the family game gave you feelings after all, did it? Our Red Guardian—and you too, Melina!"
Dreykov's earlier words had been calm and gentle, but the final three syllables of Melina's name were a thunderous roar.
The shout nearly scared Melina out of her wits. With terror all over her face, she hurriedly explained, "General, I didn't. I just..."
Before Melina could finish, Dreykov slammed his hand on the table and cut her off.
"No excuses!"
"Now. Immediately. At once. Go capture Natasha alive and bring her back to me!"
Then he turned to Alexei. "And you. If you don't want to be eating prison food in the easternmost prison tomorrow, get the hell out there and bring her back too!"
Melina, who had grown up accustomed to orders and brainwashing, did not dare resist at all. Without another word, she jogged out.
But Alexei wore a conflicted expression. "Dreykov, how about you let me catch that black egghead over there instead? He's an intruder too, after all..."
Dreykov's face darkened even further. "Fine. It seems our Red Guardian has chosen prison food for his adopted daughter's sake. What truly great family love!"
"I'll go, I'll go, all right!"
Alexei was ultimately just an oversized soldier. He did not have much confidence when it came to challenging a Russian general.
Watching Alexei obediently leave, Dreykov shifted his gaze back to Natasha on the screen.
A flash of greed passed through his eyes.
"You actually dared to come back. Looks like you gained quite a lot from that extraterrestrial object from over a year ago."
"But this is my territory. That yellow-clothed monster you summoned, along with everything you gained, will all be mine!"
