Chen Xiao walked over and nudged the lead box on the floor with the tip of his shoe. "You nearly threw your lives away for this junk?"

Banner gulped down air and struggled to straighten his glasses, half of which had shattered. "Death-plague residue scraped from the contaminated zone. It devours life with incredible potency, but what's even stranger is that it contains anomalous matter at an extremely high density... If this lead box hadn't been sealed so tightly, we'd all have turned into rotting flesh just now."

Tony stepped forward. A miniature scanning beam swept around the edge of the lead box, and the molecular stability index on the instrument screen instantly flashed a scarlet warning.
