"I can't see you—"

Her wavering voice echoed through the entire common room, and the eager atmosphere abruptly froze.

"What did you say?" Xiwen took the chance to break free from the crowd and stepped up to her, frowning.

Mannis quickly tugged at her friend's sleeve and said to Xiwen, "Sorry, Manto's personality is a little strange. She often says things no one understands, but she doesn't mean any harm!"

Xiwen glanced again at the silver-haired girl called Manto. Her eyes were still filled with white mist, which seemed to drift and swirl without pause, making them especially unsettling.

"Don't mind him, Rozier." The older student beside them seemed long accustomed to this and spoke dismissively. "She's just trying to attract attention. Trelawney spends all day saying strange things to scare people, and now hardly anyone wants to pay attention to her."

"Manto isn't..." Mannis anxiously tried to defend her friend, but she did not know how to begin.

Xiwen gave the young witch named Manto Trelawney's strange eyes another suspicious look. He could not shake the feeling that it was more than mere attention-seeking.

"No, no..." Trelawney continued to mutter. "You should be in the castle dungeons."

"What did you say?!" Xiwen's eyes widened abruptly.

After all, Xiwen's Soul Body was currently imprisoned in a room in the castle dungeons!

Xiwen had no idea how she had done it. Was it a coincidence? Or could she truly see through him?

Would she be able to see through his true origins as well?

"I can't see you..." Trelawney continued murmuring. Her cool face trembled slightly now, making her look half-mad.

Seeing her friend start spouting nonsense again, Mannis hurriedly grabbed her arm and pulled her down the steps. She even turned back to give Xiwen an apologetic look.

Xiwen watched the two girls' departing backs and fell silent.

"Did something happen here?" At that moment, Miranda came out carrying a book and a notebook, asking curiously.

"Nothing. Trelawney was just spouting nonsense again," the older male wizard told her.

"Oh?" Miranda curiously glanced at the pensive Xiwen, then patted him on the shoulder. "You're in luck. I found the Herbology notes."

After taking a few steps, she looked back and called to Xiwen, who was still standing there. "Come on. How long are you planning to stay in our common room?"

"Oh, right!" Xiwen snapped out of his thoughts and hurried after Miranda out of the Ravenclaw Common Room.

As they walked down the winding staircase, Miranda suddenly asked, "What did Manto Trelawney say to you?"

Xiwen shook his head. "Nothing much. She just said she couldn't see me."

Miranda looked rather surprised and raised an eyebrow. "I thought she'd give you a prophecy?"

"A prophecy?" Xiwen looked at Miranda in disbelief. "You mean she can make prophecies?"

"What, you don't think she was talking nonsense?" Miranda asked.

Xiwen gave a bitter smile and shook his head with a sigh. "How would I know? But she really is quite unusual, especially her eyes. They're a little frightening."

Miranda fell silent for a moment before asking, "Do you know Cassandra Trelawney?"

Xiwen thought for a moment, then shook his head. "The name sounds vaguely familiar, but I don't really remember her."

Miranda explained, "Cassandra Trelawney was the most famous seer of the last century. It's hard to imagine you barely know anything about her."

Xiwen gave an embarrassed cough. "Is she related by blood to Manto Trelawney?"

Miranda nodded. "Manto is Cassandra Trelawney's granddaughter."

"So she really can make prophecies?" Xiwen asked.

"Who knows?" Miranda said. "At least, as far as I know, Cassandra's daughter did not inherit her 'Third Eye.' So rather than obsessing over something like prophecy, you should focus on the present."

She handed her Herbology notes to Xiwen and gave him a deep look.

Xiwen accepted the notebook and nodded in agreement. "You're right."

The moment Xiwen stepped out of Ravenclaw Tower with the two notebooks, Miranda chased him away, saying that he had delayed her morning reading and she needed to make up for it quickly.

Watching Miranda walk toward the lawn, Xiwen shook his head helplessly. Then he thought of the two notebooks lying quietly in the Pocket Watch Space, especially that thick Book of Spells, and his mood immediately brightened.

He checked the time. There were still two hours before lunch, enough time to squeeze in some cleaning work in the dungeons. Now that he had Miranda's notebook full of spells, progress would surely go much more smoothly.

The Hogwarts dungeons were as dark, damp, and eerie as ever. However, after the large-scale baptism of Cleaning Charms the night before, there were at least far fewer cobwebs and dust around Helena and Ghost Xiwen.

Combined with several spare candles from the Slytherin dormitory burning diligently nearby, some of the dungeon's unchanging gloom had been driven away.

Young Wizard Xiwen handed Miranda's spell notes to Ghost Xiwen. Soul and body exchanged a knowing smile.

Ghost Xiwen would study the theory of the spells within, while Young Wizard Xiwen would put them into practice. Xiwen felt that he truly was a master of time management!

Helena, floating nearby, watched the silent pair complete their book handoff with a puzzled expression. "What are you two doing?" she asked, unable to understand.

Damn! I almost forgot there are two of us now. No, one wizard and one ghost. Xiwen froze.

But he reacted quickly enough. Ghost Xiwen turned around, spread open the Book of Spells, and held it up before Helena with both hands. "Didn't we have Xiwen ask some older students for help yesterday? I also told him to bring back some notes from an upper-year student. Maybe these notes will help you remember some spells you used to know?"

Young Wizard Xiwen hurriedly nodded beside him, indicating that this was indeed true.

Helena gave the two of them another look, wondering whether she had been distracted the night before and somehow missed Stephen telling Young Wizard Xiwen that.

Still, she did not think too much about it and lowered her head to look at the book.

"The person who wrote this book is quite talented," Helena said with an appreciative nod. "But we didn't use these spells in my era. If you expect this book to jog my memory, you may be disappointed."

"What a shame." Ghost Xiwen sighed regretfully, then pretended to look at Young Wizard Xiwen and asked, "Can I borrow this book to read?"

Young Wizard Xiwen also pretended to nod and replied, "Of course, no problem!"

"So, did your older schoolmates teach you any methods?" Helena asked curiously.

Young Wizard Xiwen replied, "Yes. A Ravenclaw senior told me several quite practical methods."

Hearing that a Ravenclaw student had taught him the methods, Helena looked pleased and said with a smile, "Then hurry up and try them!"
