Jiang Shu’s experiments with the Law of Faith led him into conflict with Mech Venerable Electric Current and the Great Destruction Venerable, while Gold Horn and Feng Yao pursued Nirvana in the Phoenix Nest. The arc left Jiang Shu and his allies battling a Black Tide led by a Law-altering Mechanical Giant demanding the imprisoned Insect Hunter.

• Black Claw defeated Blood Fang and other chiefs, united the Orc Clan as the Black Claw Tribe, and grew powerful through Faith Power until Jiang Shu lifted the emotional seal on his avatar.
• Black Claw’s rage worsened, and Jiang Shu was pulled into a past vision of Eternal Slayer fighting a black tide before he returned and later clashed with Electric Current and three Annihilation Void Puppets.
• Jiang Shu defeated Electric Current’s puppets, reported the attack to his allies, and traveled to Morningstar Starfield, where he fought the Great Destruction Venerable and captured her clones, including Insect Hunter.
• Gold Horn completed his second and third Nirvanas, defeated Kong Xuan, and entered the Phoenix Nest with Feng Yao, where the demons fought over its treasures and Gold Horn reached the altar and Blood Phoenix.
• Blood Phoenix led Gold Horn and Feng Yao to the True Phoenix Pool, where Gold Horn agreed to guard Feng Yao through her final transformation as she fused with Primordial Phoenix blood.
• Jiang Shu emerged from seclusion and sparred with Zhan Feng, then joined Zhan Jiuxiao and other Venerables at the Torch when a Black Tide attacked and demanded the Insect Hunter.
• Jiang Shu and his allies fought through the Black Tide and found a black Mechanical Giant whose power altered Laws, then Jiang Shu used the Qi Swallowing Myriad Forms Fist to halt its torrent for an instant.
