Background / History

Transmigration and conflict with the Divine Realm

Lei Chen was a transmigrator who became the Plane Lord of Douluo Star after crossing over during a nap. Although the position initially gave him power comparable to a Second-level God, Tang San's continuing influence over the lower realm made his authority precarious. Lei Chen regarded Tang San's parents and soul beast brothers remaining on Douluo Star as unlawful foreign presences and resolved to cut the Divine Realm's interference from the plane. 1

He formed an alliance with the Silver Dragon King, Gu Yuena, to accelerate the arrival of the Spacetime Turbulence and exile the Divine Realm. Rather than act rashly, he watched key figures—including Huo Yuhao and a girl within the Haotian Sect—while waiting for the right opportunities to reshape the plane's future. 4

Establishing a new divine foundation

Lei Chen began cultivating native powerhouses capable of replacing or restoring divine authorities independent of Tang San. He guided Snow Empress through successive Heavenly Tribulations, supplied her with Myriad-Year Profound Ice Marrow, and led her to the Ice God's Heart, setting her on the path to reforge the Ice God's Divine Position. 17 20 21

He also selected Ye Gu Yi as the bearer of the Angel Holy Sword and supplied her with the Primordial Unity Immortal Herb, a soul-skill replication mark, and real-time intelligence on Evil Soul Masters. Because the Angel God's restoration required sufficient evil origin, Lei Chen deliberately planned to cultivate God-level Evil Soul Masters for Ye Gu Yi to eventually purge. 24 27

After detecting the Abyss Plane's hostile attention, Lei Chen prepared for a planar war while assessing the Abyssal Saint Lord as a rival First-level God. He fought the Saint Lord directly, using the Living Beings' Watcher Divine Armor's regenerative properties to sustain a relentless offense while Electrolux dismantled the Abyss's foundation. 54 58 90

Following victory, Lei Chen absorbed the Abyss Plane's matter, energy, and law fragments into Douluo. The conquered plane's resources strengthened Douluo's reserves and accelerated its evolution toward an independent Divine Realm. 99 138

Lei Chen later established faith-based structures within the plane. He elevated Yu Linyuan as Thunder God's High Priest and created the Thunder God's Sacred Pillar to assess potential successors and gather faith. 121 123 125

He guided Bi Ji toward godhood through her accumulated Faith Power and appointed her as a suitable custodian for the Golden Ancient Tree.
