History
Old Divine Realm
The original Divine Realm ruled over numerous subordinate planes and maintained a reciprocal system: it protected lower planes, received their Faith Power, and accepted their strongest inhabitants as ascended gods. Its growth depended on integrating newly created Divine Seats into its own law system. 1 120
Despite its stated prohibition on gods casually interfering with lower realms, Tang San treated the Douluo Plane as his private territory. He left Tang Hao, Ah Yin, the Sky Azure Bull Python, and the Titan Giant Ape on Douluo Continent, placing pressure on the newly born Plane Lord Lei Chen. 1
Lei Chen and the Silver Dragon King arranged for Spacetime Turbulence to strike the Divine Realm ahead of its natural arrival. During the catastrophe, the Golden Dragon King escaped his seal and self-destructed against the God Realm Core. The Core was critically damaged, the God Realm Barrier collapsed, and the Divine Realm was carried into the void. 8 9
The displaced realm eventually repaired its Core enough to regain stability and begin returning toward the Douluo Star Domain. Its God Kings and remaining deities had spent years repairing the realm's laws and damaged infrastructure. 211
Foundation of the Nascent Divine Realm
Lei Chen's long-term objective was to create a replacement divine order based on stable laws, protection of subordinate planes, and voluntary faith rather than coercive conquest. He identified a God King-level core, multiple anchored First-level Divine Positions, cross-planar Faith Power, and sufficient material-energy mass as necessary conditions for a true Divine Realm. 120 136 217
After refining the Abyss Plane's remaining matter and restoring several core Divine Seats—including those of Thunder, Ice, Angels, Love, and the Sea—Lei Chen pushed the Thunder God Divine Throne to the God King level. 217 220
Lei Chen then created the Nascent Divine Realm at the Douluo Plane's core. The Plane Origin Sea became its energy source, the Golden Ancient Tree became its framework and passage, and the Nine Heavens Thunder-Smite Sword served as its stabilizing anchor. 221
Merger with the Old God Realm
When the Old God Realm returned, its conflict with the Douluo God Realm ended with Tang San's Asura Godhood being annihilated and the remaining God Kings surrendering or relinquishing their positions. 250
Lei Chen and Gu Yuena integrated the Old God Realm's origin, temples, law architecture, faith channels, and surviving gods into the Douluo Plane. This substantially enlarged and strengthened the Divine Realm, while Lei Chen's Plane Lord authority rose to the Supreme God King tier. 250
Structure and Environment
The Divine Realm is an independent but connected high-dimensional space within the Douluo Plane. Its laws and Divine Power are denser and more active than those of the Mortal Realm. 221
- Plane Origin Sea — the realm's primary source of laws and energy. 221
- Golden Ancient Tree — functions as the World Tree framework, law-regulation hub, and connection between the Divine Realm and Douluo's main plane. 221
- Divine Soil — ground formed from pure energy and laws. 221
- Law Dome — a vault of flowing law runes that can manifest images of celestial bodies, mountains, and rivers. 221
- Divine Power lakes and streams — naturally formed bodies of pure Divine Power that support divine cultivation. 221
- Origin Hall — the central palace and symbol of supreme authority, where Lei Chen oversees the realm and its faith network. 234
- Divine temples — residences, cultivation grounds, symbols of authority, and faith-gathering centers for First-level Gods. 225
Realm System
| Realm | Function | Overseer |
|---|---|---|
| Divine Realm | Abode of deities; center of Plane Origin; maintains the plane's fundamental laws and order. | Lei Chen 224 |
| Mortal Realm | The original Douluo Continent, oceans, islands, and inhabited world; protected and guided by the Divine Realm. | Divine Realm deities 224 |
| Nether Realm | Governs undead, soul judgment, reincarnation, and the postmortem order of souls. | Electrolux, the Death God 224 |
| Demon Realm | Contains special energies and life forms; serves as a controlled trial ground rather than a source of disaster. | Du Bushi, the Devil God 224 |
| Dragon Realm | Dragon Valley Micro-World integrated as a realm preserving dragon inheritance and unique dragon laws. | Associated with Gu Yuena and the Dragon Clan 224 233 |
Divine Hierarchy
| Rank | Role within the Divine Realm |
|---|---|
| God King | Supreme authority over core laws and the realm's development. Lei Chen initially held Dual God King Status through his Plane Lord and Thunder God King godhoods. 222 |
| First-level Deity | Main gods who govern core laws and form the realm's principal pillars. 225 226 |
| Second-level Deity | Powerful deities with greater autonomy and influence than lower-ranking gods. 226 |
| Third-level Deity | Official deities whose Divine Seats anchor their godhood and grant residence in the Divine Realm. 225 |
| Divine Official | A divine assistant or administrator without a stable formal Divine Seat; may advance through merit and cultivation. 226 |
Confirmed Divine Position Arrangements
- Bi Ji — elevated from Forest God at the Third-level Deity rank to a Second-level Deity for nurturing the Golden Ancient Tree and refining Abyssal matter. 224
- Electrolux — elevated to First-level Deity as the Death God and ruler of the Nether Realm. 224
- Du Bushi — elevated to First-level Deity as the Devil God and ruler of the Demon Realm. 224
- Di Tian, Kong Deming, Ice Empress, Mu En, Long Xiaoyao, and Xuan Zi — granted Third-level Divine Positions after reaching the God-level through personal cultivation. 225
- Ye Gu Yi, Sea Princess, Snow Empress, and Zhang Lexuan — granted authority to build divine temples and establish worship through High Priests in the Mortal Realm. 225
- Di Tian and Ice Empress — promoted from Third-level to Second-level Deities after ten years of development. 226
Core Laws
The Nascent Divine Realm was built around strengthened pillar laws of thunder, light, ocean, love, life, and destruction. Elemental and superior laws were arranged beneath the harmonizing authority of Lei Chen's God King Law of Thunder. 221
Six unassigned First-level elemental Divine Positions later condensed naturally within the Divine Realm's source.
| Divine Position Origin | Status |
|---|---|
| Earth | Condensed; unassigned due to Lei Chen's caution. 226 |
| Fire | Condensed; unassigned due to Lei Chen's caution. 226 |
| Water | Condensed; unassigned due to Lei Chen's caution. 226 |
| Wind | Condensed; unassigned due to Lei Chen's caution. 226 |
| Light | Condensed; unassigned due to Lei Chen's caution. 226 |
| Darkness | Condensed; unassigned due to Lei Chen's caution. 226 |
Lei Chen refuses to grant these positions without considering a candidate's temperament, loyalty, potential, and compatibility with the corresponding foundational law. 226
Faith System
The Divine Realm relies on Faith Power as both a source of growth and a means of establishing a sustainable relationship with other planes. Lei Chen rejects forced conquest because faith must arise from genuine recognition and reliance. 120 121
- First-level Gods may establish worship in the Mortal Realm by cultivating High Priests. 225
- High Priests spread revelations, guide believers, borrow portions of their deity's authority, punish evil, and stabilize faith sources. 225
- The Divine Realm encourages its gods to spread compatible faith systems across other planes. 234
- More than fifteen planes were incorporated into the Douluo God Realm's faith network, creating a cycle of external Faith Power and internal divine advancement. 234
Relationships
- Lei Chen — founder of the Nascent Divine Realm, its initial sole ruler, and the God King whose laws form its core structure. 221 222
- Gu Yuena — fellow God King and Lei Chen's ally; she later shares authority over the merged divine order. 229 250
- Golden Ancient Tree — World Tree framework, law hub, and conduit connecting the Divine Realm to the Douluo Plane. 221
- Plane Origin Sea — energy and law source used to establish and sustain the realm. 221
- Old God Realm — former divine system damaged by the Spacetime Turbulence; ultimately merged into the Douluo Plane's Divine Realm. 211 250
- First-level Gods — core law bearers authorized to construct temples, spread worship, and cultivate High Priests. 225
- Subordinate planes — external worlds connected through reciprocal faith networks rather than direct annexation. 120 234
