Xiao Wanqing and her younger half-sister, Xiao Yuting, originated from the Heavenly Spirit Continent. Born to the principal wife and fifteen years older than Yuting, Wanqing was the clan's favored daughter from childhood. She cultivated through her own efforts, rejected an arranged marriage, and promised to protect Yuting. 31 32

After arriving on World-Creation Continent, Wanqing rose to the Emperor Sovereign Realm and became a core member of the Xiao Clan as a descendant of its missing Clan Chief. Her talent, beauty, and reputation earned her the title of the Xiao Clan's “undefeated goddess.” 32

Wanqing and Yuting reunited after sixteen years apart. During a subsequent assassination attempt by the Xue and Qin Clans, Wanqing was poisoned and sealed. Wanqing arrives as Xiao Yuting protects the exhausted Xiao Yan from Xiao Ming's group. She ends the immediate confrontation, postpones Xiao Yan's fifth match, and agrees to Xiao Ming's proposal that the contest be settled during the clan entry test ten years later. 9
