Background / History
Ancient Demonic War
The Extraterrestrial Evil Tribe’s ancient invasion devastated the Great Thousand World, killing countless inhabitants and supreme experts. The Heavenly Emperor sacrificed himself to imprison the Nine Corpse Heavenly Demon Emperor within the Ancient Heavenly Palace, preventing that enemy from destroying other battlefields 135 138.
The Immortal Emperor used the Great Thousand World’s power to seal the Heavenly Evil God. His incomplete inscription on the Firmament Codex—the surname Ye—remained as evidence of his connection to the World Will 154 155.
Arrival of the Dou Qi Continent’s Ascenders
After becoming a Dou Di, Han Feng revealed the Great Thousand World’s existence to the ancient clan patriarchs, explaining that their continent’s highest realm was only a high-level beginning in the wider world. Opening a passage and channeling Origin Qi into the Dou Qi Continent subsequently enabled Gu Yuan and Zhukun to become Dou Di 121 130.
Han Feng, Xiao Yan, Gu Yuan, and Zhukun crossed into the Great Thousand World together. Their arrival placed them directly in the war between the Luo God Clan and Blood God Clan. Han Feng defeated the invading forces, and the Luo God Clan provided accommodation, resources, and information while the newcomers adapted to the higher plane 131 132 133.
Return of the Heavenly Evil God
The Extraterrestrial Evil Tribe launched diversionary attacks against the Endless Fire Domain and Martial Realm to keep their strongest defenders away from the Northern Wasteland Mound. The Immortal Emperor’s Eternal Seal broke, allowing the Heavenly Evil God to return 152 153 154.
Han Feng, Xiao Yan, and Lin Dong answered the crisis by invoking the Firmament Codex. While Xiao Yan and Lin Dong held back the enemy, Han Feng completed his true name and attained the Ruler Realm. Drawing on the world’s power, he ultimately erased the Heavenly Evil God and stopped the demonic currents intended to annihilate its continents 155 157 159.
Postwar Era
During the following twenty years, new superpowers and young cultivators flourished without the Extraterrestrial Evil Tribe’s threat. Mandala expanded Daluo Territory, Luo Qingli became the Luo God Clan’s leader, and Mu Chen gained renown. Xiao Yan and Lin Dong eventually completed their own true names on the Firmament Codex beside Han Feng’s 160.
Geography
The Great Thousand World encompasses vast continents, star domains, and stretches of void. Its major territorial division follows the shattered ancient battlefield 134 146.
| Division | Description |
|---|---|
| Myriad Races Territory | One of the world’s two principal territorial divisions 134. |
| Demon Region | Territory occupied by the Extraterrestrial Evil Tribe. Its leadership claims to control half the world, despite remaining rejected by the realm itself 134 152. |
Major Regions
| Region | Documented Lands and Features |
|---|---|
| Central heartland | Contains ancient continents. Northern Wasteland Continent houses the Great Thousand Palace and Land of Ten Thousand Tombs; Maha Continent is the Maha Ancient Clan’s ancestral homeland 134 146. |
| Eastern Region | Includes Sky Luo Continent, Hundred Spirits Continent, the Sword Region, and other ancient powers 134. |
| Western Region | Includes Saint Abyss Continent and West Heaven Continent. The ascenders first arrive in the far western Little West Heaven Realm 131 134. |

Cultivation System
Spiritual Energy and Resources
- Spiritual energy is substantially richer and more vigorous than the Dou Qi Continent’s natural energy 131 149.
- Lower-plane energy must be converted to assimilate with the Great Thousand World’s laws. Xiao Yan, Gu Yuan, and Zhukun complete this process after several days of cultivation at Luo Water Pavilion 133.
- Lower-plane restrictions disappear upon entry. Han Feng’s accumulated Origin Qi merges with the higher world’s laws, immediately triggering a Heavenly Supreme tribulation 131.
- Supreme Spiritual Liquid is the world’s common currency and an important resource for newly arrived cultivators 132.
- One Qi Transforms into Three Purities is one of the world’s thirty-six peerless divine abilities. Unlike ordinary energy avatars, its incarnations can cultivate and advance independently 139 140 152.
Documented Power Ranks
| Rank | Documented Benchmark |
|---|---|
| Ninth-Grade Supreme Peak | Han Feng’s Nine-Star Dou Sheng Grand Perfection cultivation is explicitly compared to this rank 97. |
| Lower Earth Supreme | Xiao Yan, Gu Yuan, and Zhukun stabilize at this realm after converting their Dou Qi 133. |
| Earth Supreme Great Perfection | Named among the cultivation levels restricted by the Ancient Heavenly Palace’s barrier 135. |
| Spirit Grade Heavenly Supreme | Combat level of Han Feng’s first two independent incarnations; Nether Demon Emperors are also compared to this grade 140 145. |
| Saint Grade Heavenly Supreme | A pinnacle rank attained by Han Feng after decades of demon hunting and later held by Xiao Yan 145 149. |
| Ruler | Realm above Saint Grade established when Han Feng completes his true name on the Firmament Codex 157. |
World Will and Firmament Codex
Recognition and World Power
The Firmament Codex manifests the Great Thousand World’s Will as a mysterious light curtain bearing images of mountains, rivers, celestial bodies, and stars 155 160.
- Sensing the World Will opens the path to engraving one’s true spirit into the world 155.
- Inscribing a true name grants the world’s recognition and access to its mighty force 155.
- The Codex exerts immense resistance: Xiao Yan and Lin Dong initially write only their surnames, while Han Feng struggles to complete his second character 155 156.
- Completing his full name allows Han Feng to become a Ruler and receive boundless support from the world during his battle with the Heavenly Evil God 157 158 159.
Documented Inscriptions
| Cultivator | Inscription | Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Immortal Emperor | Ye, left during the ancient era | Incomplete inscription associated with the world power used to seal the Heavenly Evil God 155. |
| Xiao Yan | Xiao | Initial surname inscription strengthens him for the battle against the Heavenly Evil God 155 156. |
| Lin Dong | Lin | Initial surname inscription enables him to fight alongside Xiao Yan while protecting Han Feng 155 156. |
| Han Feng | Han Feng | First complete true name documented; establishes the Ruler Realm 157. |
| Xiao Yan and Lin Dong | Xiao Yan and Lin Dong | Complete their names twenty years after the final battle 160. |
Rejection of Demonic Outsiders
- The realm naturally rejects the Extraterrestrial Evil Tribe. Its leader warns that, without conquering and reshaping the world, the tribe will eventually be expelled by the world itself 152.
- The Heavenly Evil God claims that his long imprisonment allowed his aura to permeate the world and remove its natural suppression of him 157.
- Han Feng’s final attack combines starlight, true fire, and the world’s will to erase the Heavenly Evil God’s power and hatred without leaving a trace 159.
Travel and Ascension
- Planar passages connect the Great Thousand World to lower planes. Han Feng’s first expedition spends nearly a month crossing before arriving 130 131.
- Planar storms and astral winds can scatter or destroy travelers. Han Feng supplies soul-imprint jade tokens so separated companions can locate one another and confirm survival 130.
- Cross-continent teleportation arrays provide links between major continents through hubs such as Western Heaven War City 134.
- Ancient trans-realm arrays can transport entire armies across immense distances. The Maha Ancient Clan uses its inherited array to march toward the far north 146.
- Return journeys are possible. Han Feng and Xiao Yan revisit the Dou Qi Continent, then open a stable passage to bring their families and companions into the Great Thousand World 149.
