After Leindorf bowed once more and left, only Green remained in the palace, seated upon the throne.
Green began pondering the reasons behind the three deities' interest in him again.
The God of Tyranny, Bane, was watching him. Most likely, he wanted to corrupt him and turn him into a tyrant.
The Mother of Evil Dragons, Tiamat, was watching him. Most likely, it had to do with his race and Authority—she wanted to bring him under her command.
Green could understand the first two.
But he was rather confused by Bahamut's interest in him.
As a Good Dragon, Bahamut wouldn't try too hard to stop him from ascending to godhood.
"Most likely, it's because of Tiamat's interest in me!" Green guessed.
"No, that's not the reason!" Green seemed to have suddenly thought of something. He spoke to the Chip. "Chip, bring up my attributes!"

"I've been paying attention to the Rulership Authority and forgotten the problems the other Authorities could cause!"
"Dragonifying entire races would have a huge impact on both Bahamut and Tiamat. No wonder Bahamut noticed me too!"
A look of understanding flashed through Green's eyes. Other dragons also possessed the ability to transform other creatures into Dragonkin; that was how other dragons' followers came to be.
But transforming entire races one by one on such a massive scale, while ignoring their innate resistance—that was something even Tiamat would struggle to do.
After all, most renowned races had a deity behind them. Changing their race wasn't so easy.
But he could do it, and that made it a potential Authority.
Once he ascended to godhood, this ability would grow even more powerful. For races protected only by a Lesser Divine Power, his Authority posed an enormous threat.
