Feeling the aura emanating from Avalas, Cyric—unusually—did not descend into madness. Instead, he displayed a remarkable degree of reason.
"Ha ha ha, Bane, look at you now!" A wild grin spread across Cyric's face.
A look of satisfaction—rarely seen on this deity—appeared.
His immense joy even dispelled some of the madness from his face.
Following the link between their souls, Cyric issued an order to his Church.
At the headquarters of the Church of Cyric, the Pope received the order as well.
Soon, an order went out from the Church of Cyric's headquarters.

For the members of the Church of Cyric, it was a great joy that their deity had issued such a clear command.
