Three days later!
In an unknown Medium Plane, in a city called Samia!
Shops lined both sides of the white street. Painted wooden signs jutted out from the sides of the shops, each bearing the name of its establishment.
The people on the street moved in small groups. Several noblewomen in splendid clothes walked up and down the street, carrying bottles of perfume and occasionally stepping into shops to buy things. Behind them, their servants carried bundles of purchases, sweat rolling down their faces.
At the end of the street stood a huge temple. A gigantic set of scales rose above it, while priests in purple or blue robes, white belts around their waists, and black and white gloves on their left and right hands constantly filed in and out.
Some of the priests even had their eyes covered with gauze.
This was a branch of the Church of Tyr, the God of Justice.
Tyr, the God of Justice, had lost his right hand in a battle against the Chaos Demon Hound. During the Year of Troubles, he had also lost his eyes as punishment from the Overgod for dereliction of duty.
Some evil Divinities even mocked Tyr for his disabilities, calling him the Crippled God.
But the priests who believed in Tyr saw those missing parts as the price their Primary Deity had paid to protect Justice. They did not feel any pain over it; they even felt honored.
Therefore, most priests in the Church wore different gloves on their left and right hands to show respect for their Primary Deity.
Some particularly devout priests even covered their eyes with bandages.
Clip-clop, clip-clop!!!
The crisp, hurried sound of hooves shattered the peace around the Church.
A Black Horse charged wildly down the street, damaging numerous shops and the decorations
