Ch. 1061A Brand-New Conspiracy?

A wounded Paladin and his dying Black Horse arrived at the Church of Tyr in Samia carrying a curse mixed with Divine Power. The priests purged the curse and healed them, leaving the exhausted Bishop and clergy collapsed in the temple hall.

  • A dying Paladin rode into Samia on a wounded Black Horse, carrying a White Cylinder, and collapsed outside the Church of Tyr.
  • The priests tried to heal the pair, but the curse inside the Paladin erupted and blasted them away.
  • A High-Tier Priest detected a Legendary Curse mixed with Divine Power and ordered the Bishop summoned.
  • The Bishop and the priests gathered in the temple hall and called on Tyr to overpower the curse with a pillar of white light.
  • The curse dissipated, the Paladin and Black Horse healed, and the exhausted priests collapsed.

Ch. 1062Target

Bimis woke in the Justice Church's Temple after surviving an Illusion Realm caused by the sealed White Cylinder. After recounting how his squad was corrupted and died, he and the others discovered the artifact's seal was failing and prepared to send it to Tyr's Divine Realm.

  • Renokis and the Bishop waited as Bimis recovered, then used Mental Soothe to calm him when he mistook them for part of an illusion.
  • Bimis prayed before Tyr's statue to confirm he was safe, then told Renokis and the Bishop that he had killed Elinia, Krenobel, and the rest of his squad after the White Cylinder drove them mad.
  • Bimis explained that he had opened the White Cylinder in a cultist stronghold, trapping the squad in an illusion where they believed they had achieved their dreams.
  • Bimis said he had resealed the cylinder after repeated prayers, but the illusion's collapse transformed his squad into monsters, forcing him to kill them before fleeing.
  • Black light leaked from the White Cylinder, and the Bishop warned that its weakened seal would soon fail.
  • The Justice Church prepared a grand ceremony to send the Evil Artifact to Tyr's Divine Realm for him to handle.

Ch. 1063Sacrifice

Cyric secretly orchestrated a trap to corrupt Tyr, while feigning madness to deceive the evil deities watching him. In Tyr’s Divine Realm, Tyr judged his followers’ souls until urgent prayers drew his attention to an unfolding crisis.

  • Cyric used an altered copy of the Book of Lies to create an Illusion Realm intended to corrupt Tyr, then pretended to fall into madness so the evil deities would believe his scheme had succeeded.
  • The evil deities on Pandemonium’s Fourth Layer, including Asmodeus, mistook Cyric’s performance for genuine madness and took satisfaction in his apparent downfall.
  • In the Justice Court, Tyr judged his followers’ souls and sent Luo Biersiqiya, newly transformed into an Astral Deity, to fight evil on the front lines.
  • Tyr sensed his priests’ desperate prayers and paused the judgment to use his Believers’ Faith Force to see what had happened.

Ch. 1064Infiltration?

Tyr removed a dangerous artifact from his followers’ temple and contained it in the Judgment Court, where its power broke through his Order Barrier and released a black skeleton wielding a God-Calamity Sword Replica. After destroying the skeleton and resealing the artifact, Tyr suspected the White Cylinder held the Book of Lies and prepared to investigate it.

  • Tyr sent Divine Power to the Temple of Tyr in Samia, removed the White Cylinder from its Altar, and protected his Believers from its illusions.
  • The Bishop ordered everyone to rest and pray for three days, but the Believers remained at the temple and continued praying.
  • The White Cylinder appeared in the Judgment Court, where Black Smoke overwhelmed the Order Barrier and formed a black skeleton armed with a God-Calamity Sword Replica.
  • Tyr struck the skeleton and its sword with two spheres of holy light, destroying the skeleton and knocking the replica away.
  • Tyr resealed the White Cylinder and concluded that it might contain the Book of Lies before preparing to examine it.

Ch. 1065The Deception of Lies and Illusions

Tyr opened the White Cylinder and found the Book of Lies inside, but its power deceived him while secretly corrupting the Judgment Court and weakening him. Believing the book’s false account of Cyric’s plan, Tyr decided to protect the Book of Holiness and the Book of Darkness and sent an avatar to the Prime Material Plane.

  • Tyr suppressed the black force inside the White Cylinder and removed the Book of Lies.
  • Tyr opened the book’s golden clasp and believed he had subdued its power, unaware that the Judgment Court was filling with corruption and the book was draining him.
  • The Book of Lies made Tyr believe Cyric planned to find the Book of Holiness and the Book of Darkness and claim the Throne of Evil.
  • Tyr hid the Book of Lies in his robe and decided he needed to protect the two artifacts from Cyric.
  • Tyr closed his eyes on the bench and sent an avatar to the Prime Material Plane.

Ch. 1066Transmission

Cyric used the Evil gods’ power to keep Tyr trapped in an illusion while Tyr found the Book of Holiness. Tyr’s touch triggered a painful backlash against the Evil gods, but he sent the book to his true body before his avatar vanished.

  • Cyric strained to maintain the illusion concealing Tyr while hiding his exhaustion behind another display of madness.
  • Tyr climbed a snowy mountain using the Book of Lies to locate the Book of Holiness and the Book of Darkness.
  • Tyr uncovered the Book of Holiness, whose power ignited the Evil Divine Power within him and struck the Evil gods linked to it.
  • Asmodeus ordered the Evil gods to send more Divine Power to prevent the book from purifying Cyric, who endured the backlash to preserve the illusion.
  • Tyr felt a brief dizziness as the Book of Holiness suppressed the corruption within him, then sent the book to his true body and vanished.

Ch. 1067The Problem Comes to Light

Green discovered that the Divine World’s balance of good and evil was breaking down, with major nodes forming in Pandemonium, Mount Celestia, and the Bottomless Abyss. Fearing a Cataclysm that could disrupt the gathering of Faith Force, he alerted the key Deities of the Dominion Pantheon.

  • Tyr took the Book of Holiness and held it against his chest, causing it to attack the Book of Lies and torment Cyric and the Evil Deities as he searched for the Book of Darkness.
  • Green’s Divine Realm prospered under Sevyla and the angels as Believers trained, advanced, and formed a new Radiant Legion.
  • Green surveyed the Divine World and sensed that its Origin Force was building toward upheaval.
  • Using True Seeing, Green identified powerful nodes in Pandemonium and Mount Celestia, along with a third node taking shape in the Bottomless Abyss.
  • Green concluded that the forces of good and evil were dangerously unbalanced and sent messages to the key Deities of the Dominion Pantheon.

Ch. 1068The Book of Darkness

Tyr searched the Abyss’s 326th layer for the Book of Darkness, disguising himself as an imp to evade the book’s avoidance of him. He sealed the book in a scroll and escaped, leaving the Abyss and its demon lords on alert.

  • Tyr dug through the 326th layer for several days but realized the Book of Darkness was avoiding him.
  • Tyr killed an imp, possessed its body, and used its soul as a disguise to resume digging.
  • Tyr found the Book of Darkness and sealed it inside a scroll with a wave of pure energy.
  • Tyr left the imp’s body, opened a Plane Passage, and escaped the Abyss with the sealed book.
  • The Abyssal Will raged over the invasion, while Demogorgon, Orcus, and Graz'zt sensed Tyr’s lingering aura and put the Abyss on alert.

Ch. 1069Crisis Response

Tyr read the Book of Holiness, gaining power while its Goodness Origin tormented the evil gods. Green’s allies prepared their realms and churches for a looming crisis as Asmodeus urged the other evil gods to endure until Cyric read the Book of Darkness.

  • Tyr opened the Book of Holiness and grew stronger as he read its information.
  • Cyric endured the Book of Holiness’s torment and used the Book of Lies to divert most of its power to the other evil gods.
  • Asmodeus, Gruumsh, Talos, and the other evil gods suffered in the Sealed Hollow while Asmodeus urged them to hold on until Cyric read the Book of Darkness.
  • Green assigned crisis preparations to Sevyla and the other Top-Tier Lifeforms.
  • Kossuth seized the City of Brass, struck down the Grand Sultan, and ordered fire elementals to fortify the city.
  • Leindorf and Yugulos sent divine incarnations to stockpile supplies and reinforce the Ruling Church, prompting some other gods to follow suit.

Ch. 1070The Desire to Expand

Green discovered that the white node in Mount Celestia was locked in a stalemate with two black nodes and was slowly being corrupted, leaving only three to five years before one side prevailed. Unable to grow stronger directly, he sent hundreds of Avatars to gather materials for Divine Artifacts while Tyr’s corruption continued to deepen.

  • Green confirmed that the Ruling Church had secured enough supplies to keep gathering Faith Force and found the Bottomless Abyss node had vanished.
  • Green saw the white node in Mount Celestia struggling against two black nodes, one of which had been sealed, and estimated the conflict would end within three to five years.
  • Green decided to forge Divine Artifacts, including through Law Forging, and sent hundreds of Avatars into the Astral Prime Material Plane to gather materials.
  • Tyr continued reading the Book of Holiness as the Book of Darkness and the Evil Deities’ power spread through his Godhead.
  • Tyr became increasingly possessive of the Book of Holiness and resolved to use it to grow powerful enough to curb the Dominion Pantheon.

Ch. 1071The Forging Begins

Green collected seven objects representing different forms of rule and prepared to forge a divine artifact outside his Divine Realm. The chapter left him flying out in his True Body to begin the forging.

  • Dorell XIII’s kingdom fell into revolt, and a rebel general killed the king with a spear in the palace.
  • Green appeared in the grand hall and took the bloodstained throne and Tyrant-Slaying Spear, causing rumors that Dorell XIII had escaped to spread.
  • Half a year later, Green reviewed seven objects representing tyranny, resistance, terror, law, theocracy, economic rule, totalitarianism, and royal authority.
  • Green stored the objects and flew beyond his Divine Realm in his True Body to forge a divine artifact using Law.

Ch. 1072The Forging Process

Green began forging a Dominion artifact in Arcadia, drawing the attention of the Divine World’s pantheons and gathering the Origin Force needed for the process. The chapter ended as he expanded into a colossal Red Dragon beneath a massive elemental whirlpool.

  • A dwarf in Arcadia felt Green’s dragon might and sent a warning to his pantheon, while scouts from other pantheons also reported the disturbance.
  • Green stirred up Arcadia’s elements to attract the deities’ attention and draw the World Will toward him.
  • Green placed eight symbolic items in the sky, then added Bane’s Black Iron Gauntlet as a ninth forging material.
  • The watching deities realized Green intended to use Law Forging to create an artifact of his own.
  • Green gathered the subordinate Laws of six Dominion Laws around the nine items and grew to enormous size to draw down the Origin Force.

Ch. 1073Forging Success

Green forged the Hand of Dominion and Supremacy from nine symbolic items, but learned that the artifact remained incomplete without an object embodying chaos. His success stunned the gods and prompted the Dwarven Pantheon to reshape the Soul Forge into a dedicated smithing artifact.

  • Green summoned Origin Force and transformed eight of the nine items, while Bane's Black Iron Gauntlet remained intact.
  • Green used the Law of Dominion to remake the gauntlet as a golden vessel and absorbed six gems into it, creating the Hand of Dominion and Supremacy.
  • Green learned that the artifact was only a half-finished product because it lacked chaos, then returned to his Divine Realm with it transformed into a bracelet.
  • The watching gods were shocked by Green's forging success and recognized him as a greater smith than the Dwarves.
  • Moradin, Belenni Truesilver, and the Dwarven deities gathered in Solania and began converting the Soul Forge into a dedicated smithing forge.

Ch. 1074Artifact

After Green forged the Hand of Dominion and Supremacy, Moradin and the Dwarven gods recognized the potential of Law Forging and hurried to finish modifying the furnace for the Storm Hammer. Over the next two years, Green forged five powerful artifacts as a crisis on Mount Celestia neared its climax.

  • Moradin and the Dwarven gods watched Green's Law Forging and realized his artifact-making technique could produce exceptionally powerful artifacts.
  • Moradin ordered the Dwarven gods to accelerate the furnace modifications, worried that Green's forging had begun splitting his Divine Office of forging.
  • Over two years, Green forged five artifacts, whose power comparable to Greater Divine Power alarmed the pantheons.
  • Green reviewed the five artifacts in his Divine Realm and watched the forces on the Mount Celestia Plane approach their final clash as Darkness Power's corruption neared a critical point.

Ch. 1075Omen

Tyr’s growing obsession with reaching Great Divine Power led him to break the Seal on the Book of Darkness and absorb its corrupting knowledge. As he fell further under its influence, the Abyssal Blood Pool began producing more and stronger demons, though the powerful demons had not yet noticed the coming change.

  • Dark Power seeped from the Book of Darkness into Tyr while he studied the Book of Holiness, and he found he could not turn its final page.
  • Tyr abandoned his plan to entrust both books to the Overgod and decided to use their power to reach Great Divine Power.
  • Tyr broke the Seal on the Book of Darkness and read its teachings, welcoming its cruel methods as a means to grow stronger.
  • The Book of Darkness corrupted Tyr’s Godhead and will until Dark Power shrouded him.
  • As the balance of Good and Evil shifted, the Abyssal Blood Pool produced more demons, and its Lesser Demons grew stronger through slaughter.

Ch. 1076Summoning

Green observed the Abyssal Sea producing Obyrith Demons in increasing numbers as the balance of power shifted, and suspected a great upheaval was near. He summoned the Dominion Pantheon to prepare, leaving its Deities directing their Churches for the coming crisis.

  • In the Abyssal Sea, grotesque Obyrith Demons devoured one another as an unprecedented monster began to take shape.
  • Green saw the black node on Mount Celestia break through the Seal and suppress the white node, and wondered whether the World Will intended to use the crisis to create a Great Divine Power.
  • Green ordered Sevyla to summon every Deity in the Dominion Pantheon to his Divine Realm.
  • Yugulos arrived first, and Green gave him a seat; the other Deities arrived afterward, with Leindorf regretting that he had arrived late and received a seat farther back.
  • Green warned the assembled Deities that upheaval on the scale of the Year of Troubles might soon begin.
  • The Dominion Pantheon’s Deities sent down their avatars and took a more active role in directing their Churches to prepare.

Ch. 1077The Collapse, the Devils' Panic

Tyr’s attempt to reach Great Divine Power failed when the Holy Light in him blocked his breakthrough, driving him to reject Justice and embrace Evil. As he forced the Book of Holiness and the Book of Darkness into conflict, the world’s balance began collapsing, plunging Demons and Devils into chaos.

  • Tyr’s Godhead neared Great Divine Power while he read the Book of Darkness, but the Holy Light in him stopped his breakthrough and left him injured.
  • Tyr blamed the Holy Light for his failure and remembered his grievances against Bane and the Overgod, deciding to abandon Justice and become the Supreme Evil Deity.
  • Tyr pressed the Book of Holiness and the Book of Darkness together, making their opposing Essences clash as his Godhead transformed into pure Darkness Power.
  • The collision of the books disrupted the Gods World’s order, weakening the barrier to the Prime Material Plane and driving Demon Lords to invade.
  • The Devils of the Nine Hells panicked as Order and contracts weakened, and they tried to restore balance by using powerful contracts.

Ch. 1078Tyr's Death

Tyr forced the Book of Holiness and the Book of Darkness to clash, unleashing catastrophic destruction across the Mount Celestia Plane. He was transformed from the God of Justice into Tyr, the Evil God, and the Justice Church lost its divine powers.

  • Tyr drove the Books of Holiness and Darkness into an uncontrolled collision and expelled their expanding spheres from his Divine Realm.
  • The clash of good and evil devastated the Mount Celestia Plane, killing hundreds of millions as Bahamut, Heironeous, Moradin, and Alfrin raised barriers against the storms.
  • Bahamut and the other gods approached Tyr's Divine Realm, but a burst of Dark Power hurled them back and consumed the realm and its inhabitants.
  • Tyr declared that the God of Justice had ceased to exist and proclaimed himself the Evil God, while his new Divine nature replaced the old one.
  • Tyr's worshippers lost their faith and divine abilities as the Justice Church began to collapse, and his throne reformed as a horned Demon while the gods reacted with shock and panic.

Ch. 1079Pandemonium

Cyric escaped Pandemonium as the fallen Tyr's power weakened the Seal, while the Good-and-Evil Origin began consuming itself on Mount Celestia. The gods set out to confront the crisis, and Green suspected events had exceeded what the World Will expected.

  • Cyric used the weakened Seal to break free from Pandemonium with his Divine Realm.
  • Asmodeus realized Cyric had deceived the Evil Gods and urged them to suppress the fallen Tyr and separate the Books of Holiness and Darkness before the Overgod intervened.
  • The Evil Gods agreed to act and vanished from their cavern.
  • Kelemvor and Ogma left Mystra's Divine Realm for Mount Celestia, while Azuth stayed to protect Mystra.
  • Green sent avatars of the Dominion Pantheon, as well as his own avatar, to Mount Celestia to investigate the upheaval.

Ch. 1080Collapse

Gods from across the planes gathered at Mount Celestia to stop the Good-and-Evil Origin from annihilating each other, but Evil God Tyr attacked them as he neared Great Divine Power. The gods contained the resulting shock waves, though most of their power was tied up protecting the plane and its inhabitants.

  • Sylvanus urged the gathered gods to stop the Good-and-Evil Origin, while Chauntea warned that Evil God Tyr would resist them.
  • Evil God Tyr revealed his complete form, declared that he would rule the world, and fired black beams at the gods.
  • Green remained still as Kossuth destroyed many of the beams, and Tyr unleashed Primordial Corruption across Mount Celestia.
  • The corruption transformed beings below Quasi-God into demons, forcing the Lawful Good deities to divert their power to protect the survivors.
  • Bahamut shielded Mount Celestia from the Origin's shock waves, and Torm and the other gods joined him until they contained them, leaving most of the gods' power occupied.
