A warm atmosphere filled all of Brick City.
Numerous Infant Stage Digital Beasts played and tussled with one another, honing their hunting skills.
The Electric Beast, enjoying a rare moment of leisure, sat at the highest point in all of Brick City. Watching the Infant Stage Digital Beasts frolic below, he wore a smile.
Amid this peaceful scene, a tiny Digital Beast—so inconspicuous it was almost impossible to notice—emerged from the block-covered ground beside the block cabin where Green lived.
The tiny Digital Beast had a camera for its upper half and smooth, metallic, tubular limbs for its lower half.
Some of the limbs had suction cups on their tips, clearly designed to help it move across extremely smooth walls.
This tiny Digital Beast was the contingency Green had left behind.
Miniature Monitor Beast!
The Digital Beast's camera rotated constantly. After confirming its surroundings, it quickly headed out of Brick City!
Its lower half writhed furiously, propelling its nearly imperceptible body forward at an unimaginable speed.
After leaving Brick City and reaching the muddy ground outside, the Miniature Monitor Beast climbed to the treetop, and its body began to transform at lightning speed.
Its tentacles joined together, forming an umbrella-shaped structure!
Its original top-and-bottom arrangement was reversed: the umbrella-shaped structure took up the upper half, while the camera became the lower half.
As a gentle breeze swept by, the umbrella-shaped Miniature Monitor Beast rose into the sky.
And just then, Green's consciousness finished descending.
High in the sky, Green controlled the Miniature Monitor Beast's body, constantly turning its camera as he gathered information.
Because of its extremely lightweight construction, the Miniature Monitor Beast flew very high, and a vast expanse of scenery came into Green's view.
Beyond
