Under the joint interference of Homeostasis and the Human World, the Time Flow Rate gap between the two worlds grew ever greater.
At first, one day in the Human World was half a year in the Information Realm. Gradually, it became a hundred years in the Information Realm for every day in the Human World.
Even after reaching this point, the gap in time continued to widen!
It wasn't until one day in the Human World was comparable to a thousand years in the Information Realm that the rate of this distorted time gap finally slowed and settled into a relatively stable state.
The powerful Digital Beasts living in the Information Realm were the first to sense that something was wrong.
They could clearly feel the information supply and information density of the entire world plummeting.
The top Digital Beasts all knew that the main source of energy in the Information Realm was human emotion.
The Emotional Force humans could release in any given unit of time generally fell within a fixed range.
Perhaps there would be a little more, perhaps a little less, but without some special event, it would remain within that range.
The ever-widening time gap kept stretching out the interval over which each unit of energy was released!
From the perspective of those living there, it was as though the energy the entire Information Realm could obtain was being spread thinner.
The information density of the world as a whole plummeted.
As a result, Digital Beasts needed far more time to advance to higher stages.
In the past, a Digital Beast might have needed only a decade or so to advance from the Youth Stage to the Adult Stage.
