Green paid no attention to the gazes of the others and began analyzing the situation carefully in his mind.

Whether he agreed or refused, there would be two possible outcomes.

First, if he agreed and accepted the Grand Dean's request, it would actually have little impact on Green. After all, Green's success rate in producing Potions was extremely high, so it would not really delay him for long. He would still have plenty of time at his disposal. The only drawback was that the Academy definitely would not allow him to travel to another world.

Or rather, even if he did go, he would have to wait until the Academy had established a bridgehead and ensured its safety before they would let Green depart. After all, a Potion-maker capable of developing the Tears of All Souls was absolutely a strategic-level asset. They could not afford to let him take any risks.

Green would not oppose this arrangement in the slightest. There was no downside: he would not need to take any risks, and he could obtain a massive amount of resources.

Then there was the matter of refusing. Green felt that if he declined, the other high-level School Wizards in the Academy would probably contact the others in their respective Schools as soon as the meeting ended and flee directly to other organizations.

Green swept his gaze around the room but ultimately still did not make a decision.

"Grand Dean, this matter is of great importance. I can't give you a definite answer. I need to discuss it with my Mentor, Lilian, before I can provide an accurate response!"
