Gathering Ends, Making Use of the World

Over the next few days, Green continued to act as he always had, attending the School's gatherings. However, he still had the Chip interfere with the mark on his right hand, preventing the silver five-pointed star from appearing.

After five days of exchanges, the vast majority of the School's wizards began leaving one after another. As for Green, he did not stay much longer either, choosing to leave on the sixth day of the gathering.

A year later, on the top-floor balcony of the Wizard Tower in the Sun Mountain Range, blazing light shone down upon the tower. In such an environment, a recliner sat in the middle of the balcony with no shade over it. Green lay there in nothing but a pair of shorts, enjoying the sunlight.

Isabella stood to one side, holding a tray with drinks on it.

Given Isabella's status, she had no need to do this at all. However, Emily, Isabella, and Lilian had never been willing to give it up. Unless Green was conducting an experiment or gave them an order, one of the three would always remain at his side to attend to him.

"Isabella, you will be responsible for the School's construction of the Wizard Tower. Eina will handle the cultivation of the High-Level Synthetic Beasts. As for Emily, take charge of everything else! For the time being, I will be conducting a long-term study!"

"Yes, Master!" Isabella did not ask why and accepted the order directly.

"All right, go take care of things first. Constructing the Wizard Tower is no simple matter. You are more familiar with the territory, so go help my mentor, Lilian, choose a suitable location. Remember, when the Wizard Tower is being built, observe carefully. Be wary of anyone tampering with it."

"Yes!"
