On the crystal-clear land of the Ice World, clouds of red flame continued to expand. Compared to before, however, they had grown much thinner. Even after covering the entire land, they barely raised the temperature.
Beneath the red clouds of flame, warships gleaming with metallic luster floated through the sky.
Surrounding the warships were countless Synthetic Beasts in the forms of various birds and insects, as well as Wraiths that flickered in and out of sight and occasionally let out howls. At the outermost perimeter was a Legion of Wyverns comparable to Peak First-Level Wizards.
These Wyverns spat acid from time to time, destroying the desperate Ice Life that tried to attack the airships.
In this World War, the Ice World's defeat was already certain. All the Ice Kings had been eliminated, and the remaining Legion was nothing more than a final, dying struggle.
Some Ice Life possessed enough spirit to refuse to give up just like that, and thus launched a final charge.
Facing these Ice Life that flew like moths into a flame, the Wizards directly granted them an honorable death.
On the ground, the Fairies advanced on a massive scale, conquering city after city.
The Royal Clan and nobles who stubbornly resisted were ruthlessly slaughtered by the Fairies. They became materials and resources, appearing on the Wizards' experimental tables or inside sealed Crystal Orbs.
After entering the cities, under the Wizards' restraints, these Legions did not carry out massacres or destroy the environment as they had in the Forest Fairy World.
Instead, under the Wizards' command, they consciously protected it.
After all, to the Wizards, the Ice World had now become a long-term resource site. Bound by the World Passage, it could remain stable for at least several hundred years. Only afterward might the World Tide trigger
