Synthetic Beasts, Ice Life, and Fairy Life from the Slave Legion let out thunderous roars. Tens of millions of troops poured into the World Passage like a tide.
Wizards streamed in among them, their faces alight with fervor.
These Wizards would serve as low-ranking commanders on the front lines, directing local battles and standing ready to receive orders from the rear.
Their death rate would be high, but so would their rewards. After the war, they would receive rewards from the World Will, and on the battlefield, they could absorb Despair Force as they pleased.
Every life that died and every soul that dissipated on the battlefield would release vast amounts of Despair Force.
If these Wizards survived the battlefield and returned to the Wizarding World, such a tremendous influx of Despair Force would surely bring them great progress.
Inside the pitch-black, cylindrical World Passage, Green still maintained his body, which stood tens of thousands of meters tall. Around him were Wizards who had reached the Fourth Level through War Sorcery.
Cracks had appeared in the opposing World Barrier. The passage was open; all they needed to do now was keep it that way.
The Wizards from the various factions using War Sorcery therefore began taking shifts.
Six at a time, they poured in power without pause to contend with the other side's Fourth-Level Lifeforms. This, too, was a tactical strategy.
The Wizards could take turns resting, recovering their strength quickly through meditation and Potions. Their opponents had no chance to rest at all.
If the war dragged on long enough, the opposing Fourth-Level Lifeforms would eventually tire and weaken, unable to maintain the balance. Their world would then have to commit more World Force to sustain that fragile equilibrium.
