Smack!

The book arced through the air and slammed into the Black Unicorn's back. Green stared at the book where it had fallen, a trace of fear in his eyes.

The moment he first looked at it, Green had seen something other than a book in his hand: a deep gray-white void, its surface covered in gray spirals of every size.

Those gray spirals followed no fixed pattern. They shifted and twisted constantly, never holding a single shape.

The surrounding space was pulled into warped arcs, as though the void were drawing it all inside.

Most disturbing of all, countless tiny hands reached from the gray spirals within the void. They tangled together, ceaselessly tugging at something around them.

Looking closer, Green saw what those hands were pulling: the surrounding spacetime.

The hands seemed able to make spacetime tangible, then tear and twist it.

Green looked at his right hand, which had held the book. Through his Special Vision, its normally pale skin was stained with a faint black aura. The aura clung to his hand, causing a slight distortion in spacetime.

"So that was it!"

At last, Green understood why he kept falling into other worlds.

Every time he passed through a World Passage with the book in his possession, he activated it.

The power it released warped his current Spacetime Phase. After experiencing that again and again, of course he had fallen into other worlds.

"If Twin-Moon World hadn't happened to overlap with the Wizarding World in spacetime, creating some kind of pull that drew me in while my Spacetime Phase was distorted, I'd probably have fallen into some Unknown World long ago!"

Green stared coldly at the book, now a void in his Special Vision.

"Luckily, I gained Sun Sovereignty in Forest Fairy World and Ice World,
