As he flew toward the top of the canopy using Flight Sorcery, Musela watched the Flower Elves passing by from time to time, curiosity in their eyes, and felt a tempest rise in his heart.

Now he had to admit that the Flower Elves truly possessed terrifying power! Their minds might be simple, but wielding elemental energy came as easily to them as breathing. Wind and wood elements in particular seemed to cling to the Flower Elves at all times.

(Green had specially tailored them this way. The Flower Elves looked a little silly, but there was more to it than met the eye. Elemental energy deliberately drew close to creatures free of other distractions! Simple creatures also had pure faith, untainted by impurities, making it easy to harness!)

Most importantly, the Flower Elves would soon have a god of their own. When that happened, they would no longer face the threat of extinction.

Looking at the city the Flower Elves had built in the Life Tree, with its many different facilities, Musela felt as though he were gazing at an alternative little world.

Envy seeped into his eyes!

The Elf Race was incredibly powerful, yet it had one serious problem!

That was, the Elf Race had no god of its own. The Elves, a native race of the Divine World, had already split into several different groups.

Silver Moon Elves, Forest Elves, Sun Elves, Dark Elves, Sea Elves...

Each Elf clan had its own beliefs, and even within a single clan, different beliefs could be found.

Take their branch of Forest Elves, for example. Their group had two faiths: the Goddess of Life and the God of the Forest.

And so, the Elf Race had never given rise to a god of its own!
