Amid a series of explosions and the sacrifice of some deities, the battle entered a phase that favored the gods. With their more agile forms, the deities began exploiting their advantage and surrounding the Floating Cities.
The gods unleashed their divine power, constantly warping the pale blue shields around the Floating Cities. Under the energy that twisted reality, holes would appear in the shields from time to time, and other deities seized the moment to attack, relentlessly damaging the Floating Cities!
Divine Godheads and fragments of Floating Cities drifted through the Astral Realm. Treasures beyond the reach of ordinary life were everywhere here, like trash.
In this terrifying war, the God of War, the God of Slaughter, and a host of other deities connected to warfare seemed blessed by the Origin Force. Their power continued to swell as the Rules rapidly merged with them.
On the battlefield, the power they displayed was even more outrageous than the avatars of Great Divine Powers.
