In March Space, a terrifying disaster began to sweep across the land!
Across the boundless grasslands, countless creatures of every kind were stampeding. Herd after herd raced in all directions like marching ants.
The fleeing creatures came in all shapes and sizes. Rhinoceroses with enormous horns atop their heads charged ahead, their bodies radiating dense black particles. Herds of buffalo-like beasts barreled forward with their heads down. Those bringing up the rear would glance back from time to time, then suddenly surge ahead faster.
The sky, too, was filled with all kinds of flying creatures. Great black crows and beings with wings growing from their eyeball-like bodies beat their wings with all their might, flying frantically onward.
Again and again, the creatures looked back, terror filling their eyes.
Behind the fleeing creatures came countless grotesque, hideous Monsters. They looked as if they had been assembled from countless creatures. One spider-like being had hooked feet belonging to some kind of crustacean, and bore the heads of three different creatures: a human, a dragon, and a wild dog. Scarlet lumps of flesh covered its body. Some had hardened into scales, while others had become eye-like organs. The sight of such twisted life filled any creature that laid eyes on it with revulsion!
Sometimes, as the Monsters ran, they would suddenly Disintegrate, bursting into a rain of bloody chunks. But before the pieces could hit the ground, the deformed Monsters behind them would pounce and tear into them in a frenzy, setting off a wave of chaos.
Watching their own kind devour one another, ravenously turning each other into nourishment, made the creatures ahead even more wary, and they instantly ran faster.
The creatures spread outward like a rising tide. Some ran over the ground, some crawled beneath it, and others flew through
