War—brutal war. Several Half-Ninth-Level Worlds waged war against one another, using every ounce of their strength to plunder the resources in each other's dimensions, all to make themselves stronger.
After endless wars, a technological civilization known as Tetolas finally defeated all its rivals. It gathered the energy of the entire Void Era and began to assault the Ninth Level. The Dimensional Ascension Instrument, built from countless resources, powered up—then exploded, utterly destroying the entire civilization and bringing the previous Void Era to a complete end.
After countless years of evolution, a new Void Era began, and countless worlds were born once more.
"No wonder the Mystic Realm took the path of expansion. It was forced into it by its environment!"
Every tributary had its limits. Ordinary tributaries could sustain only Half-Ninth-Level Worlds, and if those worlds wanted to keep expanding, they had to open passages connecting to the Endless Void, create more tributaries, and draw in more energy.
This led to one inevitable consequence: as the Half-Ninth-Level Worlds drained energy from the Endless Void, the entire Endless Void would gradually wither. Once it had withered completely, the end of the Void Era would begin.
Of course, even if the Half-Ninth-Level Worlds in the Endless Void did not drain its energy, the longer the Void Era continued, the more tributaries the Endless Void would produce. Many Half-Ninth-Level Worlds would arise naturally, and as the energy split into ever more tributaries, the Endless Void would slowly fall into exhaustion. Then the Void Era would come to an end.
Simply put, the Endless Void was bound to meet its end. To survive, one had to fight for resources.
To maintain their existence, the many Half-Ninth-Level Worlds would inevitably face a crisis of survival and embark on a path of war against one another,
