In the Third Layer of the Spacetime Prison, the white light from the left eye suddenly burst open. Amid a violent explosion, Green, transformed into a Dark Giant, and a gigantic ape each became two streaks of white light and flew backward toward opposite sides of the Dark Space. The tremendous impact left neither of them able to control their bodies in midair.
The shock waves at the center of the explosion blazed like a river of stars. But the Third Layer of the Spacetime Prison, formed from Negative Energy, quickly absorbed the energy in those dazzling points of light. Their brilliance faded rapidly, and the Third Layer of the Spacetime Prison fell dark once more.
Only after flying a considerable distance did Green and the ape release energy to steady themselves.
In the dark space, one man and one beast were both panting heavily.
Wounds marked Green's chest and arms. Black particles seeped continuously from them as the Negative Energy Region pulled at the energy within his wounds, making it drain away faster.
The giant ape was in no better shape. Its smooth golden fur covered a body riddled with wounds. One arm had nearly been severed, and a gaping hole pierced its right chest. The ape's flesh and energy were streaming out through its wounds.
"Hunter, why are you doing this? We're all the same kind. We're imprisoned in the Spacetime Prison, and if you kill us, you won't have any hope of escaping either!" the giant ape demanded of Green.
Green stood opposite the giant ape, but gave no answer. He fixed the ape with an unwavering stare.
Seeing this, the giant ape realized there was no point in trying to reason with him. Its expression gradually darkened.
