Thud!!!
Green, racing forward at full speed, felt as if he had slammed headfirst into something hard.
Ignoring the pain from the impact, Green shaped his body into a humanoid form and slowly reached out in front of him.
A chill met his touch. Under his hand, a wall of unimaginable hardness—one he couldn't see, yet which undeniably existed—gradually became clear.
Feeling the wall, Green's eyes lit up.
Although this False Primordial Sea shared certain traits with the Primordial Sea, in the end it wasn't the real thing.
This unknown barrier was the best proof of that.
The Primordial Sea had no boundaries. Since it had no concept of space, it could be boundless or only an inch across. Its size kept changing according to the perceptions of the creatures who entered it.
But the Primordial Sea could never have an obvious, fixed boundary.
Could this be something the Dream World created by imitating the Primordial Sea? The thought surfaced in Green's mind.
The Dream World had come into being extremely early. Green suspected that when its World Will first arose, it had glimpsed the Primordial Sea during a brief manifestation, then used its own power to imitate it and create this place.
If that's the case, then this counterfeit Primordial Sea must be the final line of defense surrounding the secrets of the Dream World.
Green rested his hand on the edge of the False Primordial Sea, an unusual light flickering in his eyes.
"I can't break through by force. Any disturbance could draw the attention of the Dream World's World Will!"
After a moment's thought, Green pressed both hands against the invisible barrier.
An extremely subtle thread of Soul Power spread from Green's palms across the surface of the unseen wall.
Time, space, World Laws, elemental energy—every power
