In a world blanketed by a faint black mist, enormous Spatial Fortresses and Abyssal Zerg Nests flew endlessly through its interior.
Around the Spatial Fortresses and Abyssal Zerg Nests swarmed large numbers of Bloodline Creatures and bizarre Abyssal Zerg.
One after another, these Bloodline Creatures and Abyssal Zerg flew off in all directions, joining the battlefields below or ahead.
In the black forests covering the earth, countless hideous creatures, bristling with all kinds of carapaces and bone spikes, fought fiercely against the creatures pouring out of the Spatial Fortresses and Abyssal Zerg Nests.
One Monster after another arched its back and launched bone spikes patterned with dark green markings at the sky, trying to bring down as many of the diving creatures as possible.
Others were covered from head to toe in sawtoothed mouths and had more than a dozen tentacles, which they used to drag flying creatures out of the sky and onto their bodies, where they devoured them in a frenzy.
Yet even though these Monsters fought with all their might, they continued to lose ground against the invading Bloodline Creatures and Abyssal Zerg.
The Abyssal Zerg feared no poison. Poisonous physical attacks could do nothing but inflict physical damage and briefly slow the Abyssal Zerg's advance.
As for energy attacks, they grew less and less effective, and the Abyssal Zerg adapted to them in no time. Soon, they had no effect at all.
With neither physical nor energy attacks proving effective, the Monsters' battle lines collapsed at the slightest pressure.
Outside an enormous Abyssal Zerg Nest high in the sky, a Fifth Level humanoid Bat Abyssal Zerg abruptly stopped in midair. The blood-red glow in its eyes quickly faded, replaced by human pupils.
