The situation on the battlefield had grown bizarre. The intensity of combat on the Mid-to-Low-Level Battlefield had nearly dropped to nothing.
The clash between two Void Wills was more than Mid-to-Low-Level Life could withstand.
The slightest shockwave would cause Mid-to-Low-Level Life to die in droves.
So Mid-to-Low-Level Life might as well choose to leave.
On the High-Level Battlefield—the battlefield of Seventh-Level, Eighth-Level, and lives that had surpassed the Eighth-Level threshold—large numbers of Advanced Life were roaming the edges of the battlefield, glancing from time to time at the radiant sphere of light. Within it, spacetime was actually grinding against itself.
Though these beings were nowhere near as powerful as Half-Ninth-Level Life, they were already qualified to compete for some scraps around the edges.
Although an Endless Sovereign seemed to lose value in a war on the level of the Void, useful only as a backbone force, they were certainly no cannon fodder.
Most importantly, Half-Ninth-Level Life valued the most central and highest-grade things. Ordinary scraps were appealing to them, but not enough to make them fight for them with all their might.
Meanwhile, the Half-Ninth-Level Life from both Voids were cautiously drawing closer to where the powers of the two Void Wills collided.
The appeal of an entirely new and utterly different power was enormous, but there was another factor as well.
The powers of the two Voids had reached a balance. Neither could break free of this state, and neither dared to stop channeling power lightly.
Under these conditions, the spacetime grinding against itself was like a high-pressure sphere. Though extremely dangerous, its stable pressure meant the chance of an explosion kept falling, and the danger was diminishing.
And once the rewards far outweighed the risks they would have to bear, even Half-Ninth-Level Life couldn't help but take action.
