"It was like this, Lord Green. Take the Origin River, for example. The Origin River divided its power into four, forming four tributaries. During each Void Cataclysm, three of those tributaries would be swept clean by the purest Void Force, while in the remaining river, the purity of the Void Force would fluctuate randomly between around 50% and 80%!"
"But during the initial stage of the cleansing, there was no way to predict exactly which river would survive. By the time it became possible to tell which one it was, the spread of the Void Force had already reached a certain extent. Even Ninth-Level Lifeforms had no way to withdraw and escape, and would ultimately have all their power absorbed by the Void Force, forcing them to start accumulating power again!"
Green suddenly understood. The Origin River's method was to force Ninth-Level Lifeforms to gamble on their luck. Those with good luck would be in the Void that would not be completely destroyed, and if their power was strong enough, they might even be able to carry that power and break out.
But those with bad luck would become nourishment for the Void.
Moreover, according to calculations based on the usual model, the Ninth-Level Lifeforms among the four tributaries would most likely be distributed evenly, with their strength roughly equal.
With one side gaining and the other losing, the Void would instead make a net profit of half the power of the Ninth-Level Lifeforms.
However, Green, standing atop the Watchtower, soon furrowed his brows.
The Origin River's plan was completely biased in its own favor. If it were truly carried out this way, it would only be a matter of time before the Ninth-Level Lifeforms were completely drained of power.
"This plan should have some hidden danger, right? Otherwise, the
