Leo pondered for a moment, then said, "Wizard Saffi, could you give me some time to consider this?"

"You may. You are this year's new student, and you still have to face the Great Summons. Once the Great Summons is over, if you can return alive, give me your answer."

Saffi said, "Enchantress, give him the contact badge."

"Yes, Wizard Saffi."

Enchantress stepped forward and handed Leo a badge. "This is the contact badge of our Wyvern Club. As long as you carry it, you can contact me at any time."

Leo gave a slight nod.

Then, Saffi's spiritual energy vanished, and the box closed once more.

Enchantress and the other two immediately kept a certain distance from Leo.

Ordinarily, Leo could not possibly defy the order of a Formal Wizard. Moreover, they had already signed a contract; once it was violated, they would be affected by the power of a curse. But they had seen some mad Prossians before.

There had once been several Prossians who dared to provoke Formal Wizards while still Wizard Apprentices.
