What Makes a Genius

Leo paused to think.

If he left now, he could easily get away from the Mutated Creatures.

The terrain here was wide open.

And Leo had his Accelerated Flying Pumpkin.

The Mutated Creatures had no hope of catching him.

Whether they went on to damage the local ecosystem was none of Leo's concern.

After all, he wasn't the one who had gathered so many Decapitator squads.

Still, after a moment's thought, Leo decided to stay and deal with the Mutated Creatures.

Or rather, he wanted to see whether he could kill them now.

He had spent so long preparing spells to counter Mutated Creatures. If he didn't even try, he would never know whether he could kill them.

And even if he couldn't, his Accelerated Flying Pumpkin would be fast enough to carry him out of danger.

Leo used the Pumpkin Carriage Spell to take flight, then began preparing Blazing Lava.

He had two spells that could kill Mutated Creatures.

One was Blazing Lava. The other was Multi-Stage Cutting.

As Leo prepared his spell, the Decapitator squads completed their mutations.

Tumors covered every inch of their bodies. The moment they became Mutated Creatures, Leo sent Blazing Lava surging down over them.

The Mutated Creatures caught in the lava did not die at once. They held out for more than ten seconds.

In the end, though, they could not withstand Leo's Blazing Lava.

While Leo cast the spell, the Mutated Creatures it had missed charged toward him.

More than a dozen Flesh Puppets leaped out from behind Leo and blocked their attacks.

Leo used the Flying Pumpkin to widen the gap again.

At the same time, he calculated how the Mutated Creatures moved, how fast they were, and how far they could travel.

The Flesh Puppets performed far better than they
