Leo cast Lightning Flow Transformation.

As Leo vanished from the spot, the wraith's hand touched the place where he had just stood.

Leo watched the ground visibly dissolve.

His eyes narrowed slightly.

Leo shaped Arcane Hand into a longsword and met their bone blades. Clang! Clang!

That made Kyle realize something was wrong.

"That's... a Battle Mage's Basic Body Fortification Spell."

Kyle stared in disbelief. "Leo, you haven't been using your Battle Mage spells this whole time?!"

"More or less."

Leo had kept something in reserve, making his own close-combat ability appear roughly equal to his Flesh Puppet's.

In truth, once he cast Basic Body Fortification Spell, his close-combat ability was several times greater than his Flesh Puppet's.

"I was going to beat you with a new Combination Spell."

Leo sighed. "But it looks like you won't give me time to master it."

"Then let's finish this quickly. I'm itching to find somewhere quiet and study my Combination Spell anyway."

With that, Leo gripped the longsword formed from Arcane Hand and charged at Kyle.

Alarm bells rang in Kyle's mind.

The remaining skeletons swiftly gathered to protect him.

But Leo cut down a dozen or so with each swing, mowing through them in moments.

"How can a Battle Mage be this strong?!"

Kyle shouted as he activated a spell.

A pair of wings appeared beneath Leo's feet.

It was Bird Wing Spell.

Leo's advance faltered, and Kyle breathed a sigh of relief.
