The wizard named Sige saw that the three were about to quarrel and hurriedly stepped in. "Gentlemen, please don't argue. Could you do me a favor and give me some face?"
"I'm the person in charge of this expedition, and it concerns my Comprehensive Assessment. Could everyone please let this matter rest for my sake?"

Fried had originally been about to calm down, but upon hearing those words, he immediately flared up again. His face reddened and his neck stiffened as he said, "What did you say? What do you mean, us Nova Assembly people are religious believers? Are you insulting Mentor Nova?"
"See? Here he goes again. I was clearly talking about the Nova Assembly, but he insists on calling it an insult to their Nova Wizards!"
Seeing the three about to start arguing again, Sige hurriedly intervened. "Gentlemen, I'm begging you, please stop arguing."
Only under Sige's pleas did the anger between the three gradually subside.
Still, they each gave a cold snort and moved far away from one another.
Sige could only wear a helpless expression.
To be fair, the two Combat Wizards were somewhat at fault. They had gone out of their way to provoke Fried with their loose tongues.
But
