The glow vanished.
Anthony's body fused back into one, returning to normal.
Saffi said from the platform, "Anthony's spiritual trait is affecting him greatly now. The spells he casts are only one-third as proficient and powerful as they would be in his normal state."
Anthony said thoughtfully, "Wizard Meys, it seems neither you nor I has mastered the Necromantic Defense Wall spell."
From the very start of the match, Anthony had determined that Meys's Necromancy spells did not include the Necromantic Defense Wall.
If either of them had possessed it, they would have cast it immediately to put pressure on the other.
Meys chuckled. "It is true that I do not have the Necromantic Defense Wall spell. However, I happen to possess an enchanted item with a similar effect. I had originally wanted to defeat you with my own strength, but it seems that even when you cannot display your full power, the gap between us is still not small, Wizard Anthony."
Meys took a small white-bone sword from his robes.

A great number of undead immediately appeared around him.
These undead served much the same purpose as a Necromantic Defense Wall. They surrounded Meys, rendering all undead-related spells of Necromancy ineffective.
Anthony frowned at the sight. As he inwardly cried that things were bad, his sense of tension rose sharply.
Saffi frowned. "This is bad. Who would have thought that the enchanted item originally meant for dealing with Leo would instead work wonders in the third match?"
"Though it may not be enough to defeat Anthony, with this enchanted item, Anthony's pressure will rise tremendously."
"It has added enormous uncertainty to this match."
Leo asked, "Wizard Saffi, did you know from the start that there would be such an enchanted item?"
"Yes."
