Leaving Ice Thorn Manor

"What are your plans now? Are you heading back to Kletam City?"

With the transformation complete, Avery asked Dago what he intended to do.

Dago nodded.

By his reckoning, less than forty days remained before Mirror Forest opened.

The journey from Ice Fortress back to Kletam City would take twenty days. It was time for him to return.

"Stay another three days. I'll teach you a few things and give you something as well."

Avery looked at Dago thoughtfully as he spoke.

Dago did not refuse.

He could spare three days.

Three days later, a figure sped over a vast, snow-covered forest. Below him, a trail left by a snake a meter thick wound through the snow.

He was a handsome young man with a composed air. His skin was fair, smooth and fine as the finest moonstone. His eyes were a clear, vivid blue, with tiny flecks of light that seemed to dance within them.

He wore an ice-blue robe embroidered with delicate silver patterns. Faint blue runes marked his neck above the collar, and a small ice-blue earring hung from his left ear.

Fine snow and ice swirled around him, and his long hair streamed behind him. He seemed to ride the wind and snow with an effortless, noble grace.

It was Dago, his training complete.

"To achieve Domain Fusion, the most important thing is finding the underlying connection between the domains. As with First-Level Domain Resonance, this step is usually much easier if you can find a concrete image to represent that connection."

Dago gazed at the small vortex of snow and ice in his right palm, lost in thought.

During his final three days at Ice Thorn Manor, Avery had personally taught him techniques for casting ice spells and wielding the Winter Star domain.
