Dago set aside his distracting thoughts for the moment and immersed himself in rigorous training.
He had far too much to sort through, and nowhere near enough time.
Soon, two days slipped by.
In the quiet room, the light of the Rune Magic Array flickered faintly, and the air seemed to stand still.
At the center of the array, a tall, slender figure sat cross-legged, bare from the waist up. Dense black-blue frost took the shape of a winter dragon, silently coiling around him.
His long hair, interwoven with dark blue, spilled freely across the floor. Beautiful frost flowers crystallized along the grain of the floorboards, and the temperature had long since fallen below freezing.
"Hiss-"
With an inhalation that sounded like a dragon's roar, all the cold in the room converged on the figure. Those ancient, sinister, noble auras drew inward, and the dark blue gradually faded. Amid a series of sharp cracks from his joints, Dago returned to normal and emerged from his training.
"Once the concentration of the despair winter dragon bloodline reached six percent, its amplification of ice magic became even stronger."
Dago raised his hands and studied the smooth, fine skin on their backs. Before this, they had been covered in ancient patterns resembling snake scales.
Ever since he had completely "parted ways" with Behelet, Dago had been exploring the mysteries of the ancient despair winter dragon bloodline.
He called the state he had just entered, in which he fully unleashed the power of his bloodline-[Ancient Ice].
In the [Ancient Ice] state, the frost power he wielded transformed into "Ancient Frost" under the bloodline's enhancement. Its normal deep blue became a dark blue bordering on black, and its chill intensified enormously.
If he delved still deeper into the bloodline's power while in this state, he
