First-Level Domain Resonance

Bernal led Dago and Selena out of Kletam City and into the vast canyon forest.

They followed the forest westward, and after walking for about half an hour, the three turned into a secluded, tranquil valley.

A small waterfall hung from the cliff at the valley's peak, spraying mist that drifted everywhere.

Dago watched Bernal slip behind the waterfall and vanish in the blink of an eye. But when he and Selena followed, all they saw was a bare stone wall.

Faint energy fluctuations emanated from behind the wall. Dago reached out to touch it, only to see the rough, hard, moss-covered rock melt away like water. Then a powerful suction force came from behind the wall, and he stumbled straight through it.

Selena followed close behind.

"A secret base?"

When light returned to Dago's vision, an entirely new world lay before him. How could he not realize that he had entered some sort of folded space?
