Background

Xun'er arrived at the Xiao Household more than a decade before the coming-of-age ceremony. Although Xiao Yan initially intended to help nourish her meridians, Xiao Yang prevented him from doing so. Xun'er later became curious about Xiao Yang and frequently sought him out; over time, the two became highly familiar, while she treated Xiao Yan as an ordinary friend rather than a close companion 3.
