"Everything over there is taken care of, Sendou!" Sendou, who was watching the oven, heard Watanabe-senpai's voice behind him.
"Now all that's left is the cake!!
This is the whole team's birthday celebration, so we can't mess it up!" Sendou said with a cheerful smile.
With such a lavish dinner being prepared, it naturally wasn't just a few people helping out. Quite a few second- and Third Years had volunteered as well!

I really have been looking forward to Sendou's cooking!!
I ate quite a lot last year!" Watanabe-senpai said with a smile.
"That's quite an honor!
Abe-san normally doesn't eat that much!"
"Of course I can't compare to you!
You're the guy who can compete with Masuko-san in appetite!" Watanabe-senpai teased with a laugh.
"That rumor is way too exaggerated, isn't it?" Sendou said, torn between laughter and tears.
"Asada!
Don't you think people left a little early today?!" Sawamura, on the other side, had finally noticed the oddity.
"Maybe they're resting up and conserving their strength?!
After all, there's another Practice Match the day after tomorrow!" Kuki reacted quickly and immediately spoke up.
"That makes sense!!" Sawamura nodded.
How exactly are we supposed to tell him later?! Asada wondered how they could get him to the cafeteria early without telling him.
Most of the upperclassmen had actually gone to the cafeteria early in order to surprise Sawamura.
Watching Sawamura get teased by Sendou, Miyuki, and the others was usually pretty entertaining. Since they had a chance to mess with him, no one wanted to let it pass.
Besides, they all agreed with Sendou's reasoning. Celebrating every person's birthday separately would be too scattered.
Since the school was footing the bill anyway, it was better to hold them all together on one day.
