Taking the Day Off-I'm Deeply Shaken

Today I learned that one of my former classmates, 24 years old, went to the hospital because he felt nauseous and vomited, thinking he had food poisoning, but was diagnosed with uremia.

This has been a huge shock to me; I need to calm down.

I have experienced dry heaving before, but it's definitely not like the loss of appetite and vomiting at the sight of oil that occurs with uremia.

But it still had a huge impact on me...

Although I am several years older than him, we became classmates for special reasons.
