Jerry opened the window and looked down at the diverse Wizards and the various shops hawking their wares, unable to stop himself from sighing.

A long time had passed since he had last left this world, and he had experienced many things since then. To be honest, he rather missed Hermione, as well as some of his classmates and friends in this world.

The reason he had not taken Hermione along on his adventures back then was that he did not want her to endure the same sense of temporal separation that he did. Hermione was still young and had dreams of her own. There was no need for her to change too much because of him.

After all, as far as Hermione was concerned, he had never left.

Besides, if he had been too caught up in love back then, he probably would not have the strength he had now.
