Nurmengard Prison (Second Update)

With the Invisibility Cloak in hand, Jerry did not linger any longer. After greeting Harry, he Teleported directly to Nurmengard Town in Austria.

The last Deathly Hallow was the Elder Wand. It was currently in Dumbledore's hands, and the place Dumbledore had chosen to retire was Nurmengard.

"Looks like he's living in the castle!"

Releasing his powerful mental energy, Jerry did not sense Dumbledore's magic in the town. Instead, he sensed Dumbledore's presence within the towering castle—or rather, prison—not far from town.

With another flash, he appeared at the castle gates.

"For the Greater Good."

Looking at the words carved above the castle entrance, Jerry sighed inwardly. When it came to Dark Lords, Grindelwald really was more charismatic than Voldemort.

Grindelwald had launched his revolution truly for his ideals and for the benefit of wizards throughout the Wizarding World. From a wizard's perspective, he had not actually been wrong, which was why he had gathered so many followers back then.

Voldemort might have resembled Grindelwald somewhat in the beginning, but after he started making Horcruxes, he changed completely, becoming a dictator blinded by power.

"Sorry, sir, this is Nurmengard Prison. Outsiders are not permitted to enter. Please leave at once!"

The moment Jerry stepped toward the castle entrance, two young Wizards guarding the gate immediately stopped him.

Nurmengard had once been a castle built by Grindelwald during the height of his power, originally intended to gather his followers and establish a center of power.

But after he was defeated by Dumbledore, the Ministry of Magic transformed it into the most secure prison. The entire castle prison held only Grindelwald, and apart from magically sending food inside each day, even the Wizards guarding the prison were forbidden from coming into contact with him.
