After hearing Superman's explanation, Jerry finally understood why Superman became Clark the moment he put on glasses, and turned back into Superman the moment he took them off. And yet, no one had noticed such an obvious disguise.

Even if people were face-blind, it was impossible for every human on Earth to be face-blind. Besides, Superman's build and appearance were so distinctive that there was no reason no one could recognize him just because he wore glasses.

So it all came down to Krypton's more advanced technology.

Lowering his five senses as much as possible until they were at human levels, Jerry looked at Clark again.

Sure enough, Clark's appearance and aura instantly changed dramatically.

First, he seemed at least half a head shorter. Second, his face looked much older. He hunched over slightly and had a bit of a stoop, giving off the impression of a cautious, honest man.

"No wonder what?"

Clark's hearing was incredibly sharp. Hearing Jerry mutter to himself, he immediately grew curious.

However, Jerry had no intention of explaining in detail. He merely smiled.

"Nothing. Zod and the others have already finished transforming Krypton in my universe. Now we need the Codex in your cells."

"No problem. Let's go now!"

The moment Jerry mentioned Zod and the reconstruction of Krypton, Clark became visibly excited.

In fact, the first time he saw Jerry, he had wanted to ask about Zod's situation. But because they had needed to save people, he had temporarily set it aside.

Though he agreed with his father that Kryptonian civilization had developed along the wrong path, he was not so stubborn as to believe Kryptonian civilization deserved to be destroyed.
