Jerry's universe was called the DC Extended Universe.

According to this universe's history, when Earth had first come into being, the Greek Gods ruled the entire planet.

Later, Zeus, the leader of the Gods, created a life-form in his own image—fair, kind, strong, and passionate. They were humanity.

Zeus's son, the God of War Ares, envied Zeus's love for humanity. He went everywhere, inciting humans to slaughter one another and stirring up war after war.

To restore peace to humanity, Zeus created the Amazons, a noble race of warriors composed entirely of women, hoping they could move humanity with love.

At first, it did have some effect, but it ultimately still ended in failure. The kind Amazons were all enslaved by humans and turned into female slaves.

Thus, the Amazon Queen led her people in rebellion against humanity, freeing all Amazons from human enslavement.

Meanwhile, on another continent of Earth lived a race even more ancient than humans and Amazons: the technologically advanced Atlanteans.

The first ruler of Atlantis hired the greatest weaponsmith in history to forge a trident from Poseidon's Iron. Legend said the trident had been imbued with the power to rule the seas.

The powerful Atlanteans wanted to defeat humanity, the Gods, and the Amazonians and rule the entire Earth, but they happened to encounter the even more powerful Darkseid, who had led an army to invade this universe.

And the place of invasion happened to be Earth.

To resist Darkseid and his army, humanity, the Atlanteans, the Amazons, Zeus, the God of War, and the ancient Green Lanterns who safeguarded the universe worked together, severely wounding Darkseid and driving him out of this universe.
