Back in the crude little corner assigned to him for rest.

Tianyi finally had a moment to catch his breath.

Most of the noise outside was blocked by the heavy canvas.

Only the faint crackling of distant campfires reached him.

He carefully took out the Book of Ten Thousand Worlds.

His heart raced with anticipation.

After that frantic day of treatment, after saving so many people, would he receive a generous reward of skill points?

He focused his mind and silently summoned the panel.

A faint glow rose, and the azure data interface floated before him once again.

There was one more point!

Tianyi was delighted, but he immediately calmed down. It was only one additional point.

It seemed skill points truly were not easy to obtain.

He began studying the panel.

"I killed those two Hidden Rain Village Genin during the day, yet my points didn't increase at all.

"That means simply killing enemies at the Genin level no longer counts as a special event."

Perhaps his first kill had already triggered it, or perhaps Genin simply did not qualify.

"Then this one point... was it from saving people?" He carefully recalled the treatment process from that day.

The act itself, within Hidden Leaf Camp's medical system,

should have counted as a special event, especially since it had earned Tsunade's personal attention and exceptional promotion.

"It seems the judgment for special events leans more toward actions that significantly affect one's circumstances or environment.

"Or first-time or pivotal actions involving a certain degree of risk or breakthrough."

Tianyi analyzed it. "The first counterkill in a desperate situation might count, and the first large-scale, high-difficulty emergency treatment counted too.

"But repeatedly killing Genin, or conducting emergency treatment on a similar scale again later, might not yield anything."

He considered another possibility. "Maybe killing stronger enemies, like Chunin or even Jonin, could trigger it?

"But that would naturally mean greater risk."

He kept that guess in mind.

"Besides, the point gained from saving people also shows that the system does not encourage mindless slaughter."

That reassured him somewhat. At least his medical path did not conflict with the system's underlying inclinations.

Looking at the precious two skill points, he wondered where he should invest them.

Put them into medical skills? Intermediate was sufficient for now, and Aoi had given him a scroll he could study first.

Put them into his attributes? Without the necessary understanding or opportunity, it might be a waste.

"Detoxification Technique... Hanzo..." he murmured the two terms.

If he wanted to survive the coming battlefield and gain more chances at special events,

cracking Hanzo's poison was the key!!! Mastering that would not only raise his standing in Leaf Village,

With that thought, Tianyi walked straight out of the tent and found Mitarai Aoi, who was still organizing the medicine inventory.

"Sister Aoi."

He lowered his voice.

"I'd like to request a little... sample of the kind of poison Hanzo uses.

"Even a tiny bit of residue or contaminated cloth would do."

Aoi abruptly looked up, her eyes filled with shock and wariness. "What do you want that for? It's far too dangerous!

"Even trace residue could be fatal if mishandled!"

Tianyi had already prepared an excuse. He pointed toward his forehead.

His gaze was earnest. "My Byakugan might be able to see the fine chakra traces or material structures left by toxins inside the human body

"or on objects.

"I want to see if I can combine it with the Detoxification Technique scroll you gave me

"and find a more direct way to sense it.

"Even if I only familiarize myself with its presence, it might give me an extra chance to detect danger on the battlefield."

The explanation was half true and half false, but it sounded logical.

Especially combined with the insight he had displayed during the day.

Aoi stared at him for several seconds, seemingly weighing the risks.

In the end, perhaps some degree of trust in Tianyi's abilities

Then Aoi took out two gas masks and had Tianyi put one on as well. Once they had donned the masks and gloves,

she carefully used special tweezers to clip out a small edge of dark purple cloth, dried and hardened.

She placed it in an even smaller sealed glass tube and handed it to Tianyi.

"This was cut from the clothing of a comrade who unfortunately died this morning.

"It was confirmed to have been contaminated by Hidden Rain Village poison mist. The toxicity has weakened, but it is still extremely dangerous.

"You may only observe it under absolutely safe conditions, using chakra to isolate contact.

"Under no circumstances are you to inhale it or let it touch your skin directly!"

Her tone was harsher than ever before.

"I understand! Thank you, Sister Aoi." Tianyi solemnly accepted it and carefully put it away.

He had obtained it. As long as he sent it to the country tonight and relied on the nation's scientific research capabilities,

they would surely be able to develop an antivenom serum.

Behind him was the sound of many people holding their breaths.

Tianyi reported, in the most concise terms possible, how he had been summoned during the day and assigned to Tsunade's direct medical team.

Then he turned to the poison threat.

"The greatest current danger is not ordinary enemies, but the deadly poison of the enemy leader, Hanzo.

"Leaf Village's front lines have suffered devastating casualties because of it, and existing medical methods have difficulty dealing with it.

"I found a way to obtain a trace sample of the poison residue and will transmit it now.

"I'm also transmitting a Basic Medical Ninjutsu scroll from this world.

"I hope it can help the country study the chakra system, particularly the interaction between chakra and toxic substances."

As he spoke, he placed the sealed glass tube and the scroll on the page.
