The Mystery of Chakra

"Comrade Fang Tianyi, the experts have made some preliminary discoveries regarding the chakra theory you sent back!

The chakra theory mentions that chakra is extracted from the energy of the human body's 138 trillion cells.

But after comparison, the average modern ordinary Blue Star human has only around 38 trillion cells in total!"

Was the gap really that huge? The numbers made Tianyi's heart jolt.

Commander Tian continued, "The expert team repeatedly ran simulations while combining them with this world's historical information.

They proposed a core hypothesis: the human physique in your world was influenced by the Ancient Divine Tree.

It underwent a fundamental evolution. The total number of cells and the potential energy structure within those cells

were already different from those of humans on Earth. Those extra hundred trillion cells, or their unique cellular structures,

formed the biological foundation for sensing and producing chakra."

"In other words," Commander Tian summarized,

"Blue Star's current technology cannot make ordinary people develop chakra out of thin air.

The key may lie in studying your biological samples—or rather, the unique biological samples of humans from that world—

to unravel the mysteries at the cellular level."

Tianyi understood. "You mean you need my biological samples? Blood, hair, skin cells, things like that?"

"Exactly! If possible, provide as many different types of somatic cell samples as you can for comparative research.

This is the key to cracking the physiological basis of chakra, and perhaps even exploring whether specific personnel can be made capable of producing chakra in the future."

Commander Tian spoke in a grave tone.

"Understood. I'll prepare them immediately!" Tianyi did not hesitate.

He moved quickly, carefully pricking his fingertip with a clean kunai and squeezing several drops of blood onto a sealed sampling slide.

He plucked out several hairs with their follicles, then used a cotton swab to collect mucosal cells from the inside of his mouth.

He even carefully scraped off a little skin debris, placing everything into separate miniature sealed bags.

"The samples are ready. Transmitting them now." He sent the biological samples over one by one.

"Received. Excellent!" Suppressed excitement came from the command center.

The value of these samples was extremely high.

"Comrade Fang Tianyi," Commander Tian's voice came again after receiving confirmation from the technical department.

"The country will not leave you to fight alone. Given the threat posed by the enemy you are about to face,

we will crack this poison within seven days and produce a preliminary serum.

Tianyi thought quickly. What he needed most right now was medical supplies.

"Then prepare a basic set of surgical instruments, adrenaline, penicillin, and other medicines for me."

If chakra were compared to an electric current, and the meridians to a circuit,

then hand seals were like a precise combination of switches and resistors.

They guided the current along specific routes, ultimately lighting different bulbs.

That meant learning ninjutsu was not merely a matter of memorizing a few gestures by rote.

More importantly, one had to understand the internal changes in chakra guided by each seal.

Fortunately, the original owner of this body had possessed a fairly solid grasp of the basics.

Tianyi picked up the scroll and first looked at the Basic Medical Ninjutsu marked as beginner-level: the Hemostasis Technique.

The seals were simple, consisting of only three: Snake, Goat, and Monkey.

Beside them was a simple diagram showing chakra being extracted, flowing through specific meridians in the arms, and finally gathering at the fingertips.

There, it transformed into a form of energy inclined toward blood coagulation and cellular activation.

Tianyi held his breath and focused, drawing upon the faint trace of chakra that had just recovered within him.

His hands slowly and carefully formed the Snake, Goat, and Monkey seals.

As he formed them, he focused with all his strength on sensing the chakra within his body.

Sure enough! As the hand seals changed, he could vaguely sense his chakra being guided by something invisible.

It rose from his lower abdomen and surged toward his fingertips along a warm current-like path on the inside of his arms.

The instant the final Monkey seal was completed and he pushed out both palms, his fingertips grew faintly warm.

"Success!... Though the effect is probably worse than a hemostatic bandage right now.

But I'm on the right track!" Overjoyed, Tianyi followed the same method and attempted the Regeneration Technique and the Detoxification Technique.

The hand seals for the Detoxification Technique were clearly more complicated, and the chakra flow pathways involved multiple meridians through the heart, lungs, liver, and other organs.

He looked back at the Detoxification Technique scroll, his gaze becoming more focused and confident.
