Outside the Tokyo No. 1 Colony, Panda looked up at the barrier before him and couldn't help exclaiming.
"This barrier is so tall! It feels like it reaches all the way to the sky."
He couldn't resist tapping Megumi Fushiguro on the shoulder.
"Fushiguro, do you think we could go around it from above?"
Megumi Fushiguro shook his head, exasperated.
"How could that possibly work? Come on, Panda, let's just get inside!"
After a full day of effort yesterday, Panda and Yuji Itadori had successfully persuaded Kinji Hakari to join the Culling Game and help them.
After convincing Kinji Hakari, Panda had immediately begun preparing to enter the Culling Game himself.
Only now, the person beside Panda was no longer Yuji Itadori, but Fushiguro.
And naturally, Jie Jian was the one directing all of this.
Earlier, because Maki hadn't wanted Fushiguro and Yuji Itadori together, she had deliberately sent them off separately.
But at the time, Maki had only been thinking about preventing Sukuna from taking over Fushiguro's body. She had completely forgotten that they needed Fushiguro to persuade Angel.
To unseal Satoru Gojo, they needed Angel's Cursed Technique, Jacob's Ladder.
And no one was better suited to persuading Angel than Megumi Fushiguro.
So after Jie Jian's triumphant return, he had Maki send someone to revise their original plan.
Yuji Itadori was sent to another colony, while Fushiguro was redirected to the Tokyo No. 1 Colony.
Megumi Fushiguro looked up at the barrier wall towering into the clouds before him. Faint ripples passed across its translucent surface in the morning light, like the breathing of some living creature.
He lowered his gaze and turned toward Panda beside him.
"Come on, Panda, let's get inside. We still have to find Angel."
On Fushiguro's way back, Maki
