Suikazan Fuguki

The ones who wanted to challenge Qing Si were Suikazan Fuguki, captain of the First Squad, and Zi, captain of the Second Squad.

Qing Si knew Suikazan Fuguki mainly because his appearance was simply too distinctive. His waist-length orange hair, combined with that uniquely enormous build, made him one of a kind in the Shinobi World.

Because of that, Suikazan Fuguki had no codename and rarely wore a mask. There was no point. Any proper ninja could recognize him even with one on.

As for Zi, captain of the Second Squad, Qing Si did not know much about him. But Qing Si's senses picked up a uniquely icy feeling from him, telling Qing Si that Zi likely came from the Yuki Clan, which possessed the Ice Release Bloodline Limit.

Suikazan Fuguki had been born in the twelfth year of Hidden Mist and was already twenty-one this year. He possessed strength at the peak of Jonin, close to that of an Elite Jonin. When the position of unit commander in the First Division had become vacant, he had considered himself the strongest candidate. Though he had not yet reached Elite Jonin level, his chakra reserves far surpassed those of ordinary ninja, allowing him to fight Elite Jonin without losing even as a Jonin. Moreover, he had more than enough seniority in the ANBU. Yet in the end, the one who became unit commander was a snot-nosed brat from the Sixth Squad. This left him deeply dissatisfied.

Zi stepped forward simply because he wanted to fight Qing Si. In the eyes of members of great bloodline clans, if you wanted to lead them, you had to be stronger than them.

But since someone had stepped forward, whatever their reason, Qing Si needed to swiftly defeat them with overwhelming force and establish his authority.

"Fine, then. Is anyone else coming?" Qing Si asked the others.

After no one responded for quite a while, Qing Si prepared to begin the match with Suikazan Fuguki and Zi.

"I'll go first!" Zi took a step forward and raised his head.

"No need. The two of you can come at me together," Qing Si replied indifferently. His careless tone immediately enraged them both.

"You said it! Zi, let's teach him a lesson together!" Suikazan Fuguki said angrily. As a well-known figure in the ANBU, he felt Qing Si was looking down on him.

Qing Si unhurriedly removed his ANBU armor and took off his shirt, revealing his firm, powerful upper body. Eight sharply defined abdominal muscles and clear, sculpted lines made his physique seem like a masterpiece carefully carved by a sculptor, brimming with tremendous strength.

Zi, who knew something of the Kaguya Clan, could not help narrowing his pupils at Qing Si's actions. He had once seen a wielder of the Kaguya Clan's Dead Bone Pulse fight. Ordinary Kaguya clansmen fought like madmen, but those who had awakened the Dead Bone Pulse were entirely different. Every one of them was an elegant dancer.

"Suikazan, attack! He's a Kaguya Clan Dead Bone Pulse wielder!" Zi shouted at Suikazan Fuguki.

Upon hearing this, Suikazan Fuguki quickly began forming hand seals. His orange hair floated upward, then turned incomparably hard as the seals were completed. It fell away, transforming into countless hair needles that shot toward Qing Si like a torrential downpour.

"Ninja Art: Needle Jizo!"

By then, Qing Si had removed all his clothes. With a casual flick, he tossed them toward Yagura's position.

"Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall!"

Seeing Suikazan Fuguki's fierce incoming attack, Qing Si had no intention of taking it head-on. He formed hand seals with both hands, rapidly pouring earth-nature chakra into the ground and raising several earthen walls.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

The incoming hair needles slammed heavily into the earthen walls, kicking up thick clouds of dust. Suddenly, a towering earth wall rose behind Suikazan Fuguki as well. A figure leaped out from behind it and rushed straight at him—it was Qing Si, who had used Earth Release to tunnel over.

"Too naive, brat!" Suikazan Fuguki shouted disdainfully. With his immense chakra reserves, he could never understand Hatake Kakashi's future pain of running out of chakra. He threw out ninjutsu as freely as though it cost nothing.

"Ninja Art: Hair Needle Senbon!"

His hair rapidly grew, becoming thick orange giant senbon that stabbed toward Qing Si.

Qing Si neither dodged nor evaded, charging straight into Suikazan Fuguki's attack.

"Pfft!" Suikazan Fuguki's hair pierced Qing Si's body, but it was only Qing Si's earth clone. Qing Si took the opportunity to control the mud formed when the earth clone was destroyed, tightly restraining Suikazan Fuguki's hair. Another Qing Si appeared beside the earth clone, his hands forming seals at incredible speed and leaving afterimages in the air.

Ram—Horse—Dragon—Tiger. The four seals were completed in an instant.

"Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet!" The soil softened, and an earth dragon rose from the ground. Opening its mouth, it fired a mass of high-speed earth bullets at Suikazan Fuguki.

"I'm not done yet!" Qing Si continued forming seals. Ram—Horse—Ox—Tiger.

"Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet!" Qing Si opened his mouth and spat out a scorching fire dragon, which rapidly caught up with the earth bullets fired by the earth dragon.

"Combination Ninjutsu: Earth Dragon Flame Bullet!"

Flames wrapped around the earth bullets, creating an effect like molten lava as they rained down densely upon Suikazan Fuguki.

"No wonder he became a unit commander at such a young age. He actually combined Earth Release and Fire Release into a single attack." The spectators murmured among themselves.

A brief note on the setting.

Combination ninjutsu are attacks formed by combining two different releases, such as Earth Dragon Flame Bullet, Lightning-Water Dragon Bullet, and Hurricane Water Vortex Technique.

Composite ninjutsu combine and fuse two different releases into a new attack similar to one produced by a bloodline-limit release, such as the Scorch Release: Light Wheel, Fierce Wind, Black Arrow Zero Style that Naruto and Sasuke fused together during the Fourth Shinobi World War.
