Danzo looked at him expressionlessly, his tone as calm as if he were discussing some trivial matter.

Fū suddenly burst into crazed laughter.

Blood continuously spilled from his mouth.

"Danzo Shimura! You hypocrite! You beast!!"

"You are not doing this for Konoha at all! You are only doing it for yourself!!"

"You will be punished! You will die a horrible death!!"

"I will wait for you in hell!!"

Using the last of his strength, he spat a mouthful of bloody saliva at Danzo.

Then his head lolled to the side, and he drew his last breath.

Naruto slowly pulled out his blade, blood dripping from its edge.

He looked at Danzo, the coldness in his eyes deepening further.

"You can sacrifice even your most loyal subordinate without a moment's hesitation."

"Danzo, you are even more disgusting than I imagined."

Before his words had faded—

Naruto's chakra suddenly surged.

Golden Sage Mode chakra blazed around him like roaring flames.

"Eight Gates—First Gate, Gate of Opening! Open!"
