Return to the Sect

Ye Yun and Li Qinglian seemed to have hit it off at first sight today. They wolfed down grilled fish and drank wine, taking a bite each and a swig each.

As they drank, they traded stories of all sorts of amusing things they had experienced. Both felt as though they had met too late.

After a hearty, uninhibited conversation, the wine in Li Qinglian's gourd had already run dry.

Looking at the empty wine gourd in his hand, Li Qinglian shook his head and casually hung it back at his waist before turning to look at Ye Yun.

To his surprise, Ye Yun, who could not hold his liquor, had collapsed onto the ground at some point and was already snoring away.

Seeing this, a smile appeared at the corner of Li Qinglian's lips. He muttered to himself, "This little brother Ye I met today is really interesting. This gourd of wine wasn't wasted today. It's been a long time since I drank so happily!"

After tidying up a little, Li Qinglian sat cross-legged not far from Ye Yun and closed his eyes to cultivate.

As the sun rose and the moon set, the sky gradually brightened. Ye Yun, who lay beside the stream, slowly woke from his dreams.

"Ugh, what happened?"

Ye Yun held his dizzy, spinning head and recalled what had happened.

"Little Brother Ye, you're finally awake! I've been waiting for you for ages."

A voice carrying a hint of laughter sounded out. Ye Yun turned his head and discovered Li Qinglian grinning at him.

The moment he saw Li Qinglian, everything that had happened the previous night flooded back into Ye Yun's mind.

"Brother Li, your wine really has a powerful kick. I'm still so dizzy that my vision's swimming!" Ye Yun complained to Li
